The Jacob Fragrance Is Based On The Character Jaco

The Jacob fragrance is based on the character Jacob Black in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight/ New Moon/ Eclipse/ Breaking Dawn series'. This is part of Enchanted's Twilight special collection, where you will also find fragrances based on Edward, Bella, Esme, Jasper, Alice, Rosalie, Carlisle, La Push, and Twilight itself.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of the Twilight series, and so this is a scent I would probably have neglected had it not been for a friend's Enchanted party where I was lucky enough to be able to try out this scent.

The scent description for Jacob from the Enchanted website is as follows:

"Warm and mildly spicy - beautiful aromatic spices blended it with black peppercorns, ginger, cinnamon, and a woody amber base."

The fragrance definitely is warm and mildly spicy. Given the list of spicy notes, I was anticipating this to be far too spicy, but it isn't at all. I can pick out the individual notes of ginger and cinnamon, and the overall scent is really quite an appealing, sexy fragrance. I think that although this is a unisex fragrance, it is one I would prefer on a man rather than myself as I prefer sweet or fruity scents to something spicy. Personally I think I prefer the freshness of the Edward scent, but I'm sure there will be a few Team Jacob fans who disagree with me!

The Jacob scent is available in perfume oil, which is incredibly long-lasting. I have found I can still smell it after 12 hours, which I think is fantastic. You can purchase a droplet of this fragrance for £1.75, which is a 1ml glass vial, allowing you to try out the fragrance a few times before deciding whether or not to invest in a larger bottle. A 5ml bottle currently costs £8, which works out at slightly better value for money than the droplets. I think a collection of these fragrances would make a really special present for any Twilight fan, and thoroughly recommend giving them a try. for more details, visit http://www.enchantedbath.co.uk.
