Enchanted Temptress of the Night

Temptress of the Night is one of five fragrances that make up Enchanted's Dark Side special collection. The scent is made up from amber, vanilla musk, and a glass of warmed milk. I probably wouldn't have bought anything in this fragrance, as I am not overly keen on the individual components of this scent. I prefer my vanillas pure and sweet rather than musky, and am not a big fan of amber. I was very intrigued about the glass of warm milk though, so when a friend held an Enchanted party, I was very eager to see what Temptress of the Night smelt like.

I was most impressed to see it does actually smell like warmed milk- how on earth did they manage to recreate that scent in a fragrance?! The overall scent is not too musky at all, and the amber is not overpowering. The individual notes seem to balance each other well, and the overall fragrance is actually really pleasant. I can understand why they called this Temptress of the Night, as on the one hand it smells quite sexy and sensual, yet on the other hand it is quite a sleepy fragrance, with the glass of warmed milk reflecting someone getting ready for bed.

I would recommend this to all amber lovers, but even if you're not a big fan of amber, I really think this scent is still worth a try as the amber is not overpowering, and the other notes balance the fragrance really well.
