I Have Always Bought Our Cars From Private Sellers

I have always bought our cars from private sellers until now. I decided to try a local dealer. I came across Best Motors on the web and after much soul searching, I found the car I have always wanted: a VW Golf!!

There were no problems whatsoever. Usually I'm worried about high value purchases but this was no problem at all. They let me test drive the car to my heart's content :)

I've driven up and down to the Midlands and the car has plenty of power and is the most comfortable drive I've ever had.

I'd highly recommend Best Motors to anyone thinking of buying a car from a dealer.

I have bought a car 2006-vauxhall astra-1.7cdti from best motors walthamstow in march. It was the best deal I have found. Their 7 day money back guarantee is great and free 7 day insurance too. the staff was very helpful and also delivered my car to me in the evening.

As a compliment they gave free service to the car before delivering.

I found the seat of the car a bit hard so I complained and they replaced it without a charge under warranty.

As I never had a diesel and i bought the car on their advise it turns out a money saver for me. It takes a lot less in fuel compare to my petrol 1.6 almera i had.

I have recommend all my friends and family to The Best Motors in walthastow and i remoned it to the readers too.

some of them who also bought cars are also happy with their purchase.

I bought a car from Best Motors (in Walthamstow, London) in March 2010. I am frankly appalled by the whole experience and would seriously urge or recommend anyone wanting to buy from them to reconsider or have the car completely checked by the AA (or any alternative) before exchanging any money.

Three weeks after purchasing the car, there was a problem with the ignition switch/starter motor - which the dealer admitted to knowing about later. Its also taken 5 months of begging & pleading (with them bullying me and lying to me the whole time) to receive the Warrantee & Maintenance book. They faithfully promised they'd post it to me after having it stamped and all the service history completed by various suppliers - Best Motors included in that list. Only after threatening legal action have I now received it but I have also found that the service history portion has not been completed and I am left with 30000miles of service history unaccounted for. It is very sad that dealerships like this reinforce how difficult it is to trust the process of buying a second hand car in the UK. It's also a family run business which is something I always endeavour to support. I have learned my lesson. For your own safety and sanity, make sure you heed this warning and be very careful of any purchase before you make it.

I found this review not helpful because...i know best motors. they have machanic on bord and they would do everything in their abilities as thier customer service is excilent..

this person bought the nissan micra from us after cheaking and test driving it. she also sigh the docs to agree that she is happy with the car.

once she complained of car not starting when truning the key.

we went 65 miles with the tow truck and found that THE LADY, INVOLVED IN THIS CAES, WAS OPENING THE CAR WITHT THE KEY INSTED OF REMOTE AND IMOBOLISER WONT LET THE CAR START.

how could that be our fault?west of jurney and time.

the car was sold with the understanding that we will trace the service history form the main dealers and we did trace it up. it took some time as car was serviced at diffrent locations. we then forwarded the history to the customer as we promissed.

we do not bully any one and advise all our customer to do the expert reports on our cars before purchasing and therfor we give in writting "the 7 day peace of mind gurantee to all our customers". Within this time customers can get the vehicle cheaked and test drive it to thier satisfection. If not happy then return the vehicle to us and take the refund happyly. NO DEAlER IN UK OFFERS THAT.

If as a customer you dont know how to operate the car then please do not blame the car or the dealer.

Further to add, if your not happy with us or our customer services please seek tradingstanderd's advise or leagle help.

we are honest and fare in all. and we go out of our way to please the customers so that they recomend us and come back to us.

i have purchased car from the best motors and i found them bery helpful and the car was truble free. have you tried writting to them or talking to them first?

if you havent then i advise you to talk to them first.
