I have no idea how these two staff members have any job satisfaction. They must get a litre tired of hearing how unhappy people are with the dresses they finally receive, but they deserve it. My fiancé’s dress when received back from the warehouse looked like a petticoat. Terrible material and things done she didn’t ask for and things not done that she did. The staff there ramble and ramble on and on, they almost sound manic. It’s so strange. Happy end to the story only because my mother took her to another shop and bought her a lovely dress that I have yet to see of course. I will get to see my fiancé walking down the isle with the dress she deserved with a big smile. Avoid this terrible morally corrupt shop.

Can I just start by saying, all of the negative reviews on here ruined the build up to my wedding dress trial! I bought my wedding dress from oriental Pearl at the national wedding show and then my sister read the bad reviews. I was soo upset wen I read them an almost had a sample dress instead of trusting them to make me a dress (would have been a very expensive sample dress). I spoke to the staff st the store an they were all amazing an made me feel I could trust them, so I let them make my dress. I still had a horrible sick feeling waiting for my dress, wondering if it was going to be the same quality as the sample dress, right up until they took the dress out of the bag. I was soo happy to see my wedding dress was exactly the same as the sample dress and the most beautiful dress I have ever seen! I can not wait to wear my dress. Please if you are thinking about buying a dress from here ignore the bad reviews, ppl only comment when they’re angry and they hav thousands of customers.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. i went in to look for a wedding dress a few weeks back and was first brought through a door for a building called LQ Designs which was strange . I then met the sales girl who introduced herself, from the moment we had entered she seemed irritable and the tone in which she spoke to us was so rude and aggressive, she clearly seemed put out that we had dropped by. when we said we had not booked we were shown through and just left to look around while she went off somewhere. we had found a ball gown that we wanted to try on that was snatch out my hand by her. some of the dresses have wholesale prices on and are on the shopfloor and when you ask the price they tell you find the dress you like and they will do a good price and the price that eventually give you is like 3-4 x the amount on the label. when i was waiting for a another dress similar to one i liked in a size bigger she walked off for ages, so my friend when find the dress and saw taht she was hiding in the dresses checking her phone. They also use forceful sale techniques and tell you that they can only do this offer for this time and do you want the dress. They tell you you have no time as a ploy to make you buy. the shop looks disgusting its dirty the dresses are badly kept and the sales consultant just steps over the dresses on the floor. the overall look of the product is cheap. on the way out i overheard a conversation were they saying to swap a customers dress for another one and that they would not know. How people like this can trade i do not know, after my experience which i shared with friends i found out more thing like they refuse to refund, they do not order dresses in on time and they are not the same quality. after this experience i went to David bridal and i have to say at least the way the run their shop and present the dresses is worth the 2000 - 3000 price tag, they are warm and friendly and make you feel special which is more than what Oriental Pearl does.

I ordered my flower girls dresses from Oriental Pearl earlier this year as I had struggled to find any in the usual shops. I picked a lovely dress from the window, had the girls measured and paid in full. At this point customer service was great (as I was spending my money). After a couple of months without yearling anything I popped in to the store to get an update as to when the dresses would be in to be told that they had lost one of the measurements and had not even been ordered. I then gave them the measuremts again to be told they did have them, but it was written in the wrong part of the paperwork. They then went on to confirm which dress I had ordered and pointed out a totally different dress. By this point I was just happy that I had popped in there and could show them the correct dress that I wanted to order! The dresses then arrived 2 weeks before my wedding and I had noticed that the beading we different to what I had chosen. Luckily I had taken a photo of the original dress and showed the sales assistant the difference to which she dismissed me and said that there was no difference and basically was trying to imply that I was stupid! The assistant manager was then called over as I had asked what they could do about this and whether they could re-do the beading. They said that they couldn't unstitch the beading as it would leave marks on the dress. I asked if I could get a partial refund as the dresses that arrived were different to what was ordered. I was told that they do not allow partial refunds and as the dresses are handmade they all come out different to what is displayed. (If this is the case then this should have been explained to me upon order!) They then said they would take the dresses back and give me a refund to which I explained that I needed the dresses in 2 weeks time and therefore I cannot return them. They then went to tell me that 'there are plenty of other shops that I could get dresses from in bluewater'!!!! They continued to speak to me in a rude tone and telling me that they would change the beading (when they had already told me this would ruin the dress) and were asking me what I wanted then as I'm not returning them. After I asked again for a partial refund they then dismissed me again. By this point I was so upset that I took the dresses and left the store as I felt I wasn't being listened to and being treated like an idiot. To top it off, once home, the beading on one of the dresses was all pulled and loose so I have had to get this fixed by a seamstress. More expense! Do not shop here. But if you do make sure you take lots of pictures of what you ordered as it is likely to be different!!!

Apon arriving instore there was a bride leaving in tears, that should have been enough of a warning for me!! I bought a dress from the store after being assured the size will fit my bridesmaid, unfortunately it did not infact it was about 3 sizes smaller! I went back to the store and was told that I wasn't allowed a refund and if I wanted another dress I would have to pay over £300, I felt that the staff wasn't interested and was nearly in tears myself. Ive now had to take the dress to my tailor and get them to let the dress out as much as possible and possibly insert panels down the side. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!

I ordered a dress for a black tie event, and was measured by the manager to ensure correct size ordered. Time was tight but I was assured that my dress would arrive in good time. I specifically requested that if the Dress did not arrive 2 days before the event they would give a full refund. The dress arrived late with hours to spare. The bodice was not to size measured. The seamstress rushed the alterations ( 3 attempts to alter) of which I had to pay £65.) After 2 hrs and and Ill fitting dress I had to leave the shop without a final fitting. The manager was well aware of the shortcomings of the seamstress and continually apologised The dress had been altered with a bustline well above any normal person and a gapping bodice. I could not wear the dress to the event. I have written twice and phoned three times asking for a refund. I have returned the dress I have spent £365 on a dress that is not fit for purpose and no refund I advise you do not use this company if you need any alteration, I

My daughter loved a dress she saw for prom at Oriental Pearl, bluewater. She tried it on, unfortunately it didn't have a price, because I knew the woman from years ago I trusted her that it was £495. She said she'd give me 50% off and her staff discount. Measurements were taken to ensure it fit like a glove. £250 later we paid in full for the dress. They had to have it made in China, no doubt. 4 months later it still hadn't arrived. Eventually it was ready to try on, you have to make a appointment to see the seamstress??? (Now I know why the dresses are made far to large), dress had to taken in st waist, the one strap was completely in the wrong place, hem about 1/2 metre too long!!! The staff try and intimidate, insult your intelligence and bully you to pay for the alterations! Which they add after you've paid and signed on your receipt slip! THAT'S why you need to see a seamstress. It's a sham, they do this with every dress! The alterations cost over £100. BEWARE it's a sham.

Me and my boyfriend walked pass the shop and attracted by those beautiful dresses. So we walked into the shop, the smile from the staff make me feel Comfortable and she showed me the professional knowledge she got about the wedding dresses. And both of us tried those that we like. The price is acceptable. Love the shop. Me and my boyfriend went so many wedding dress shops before, but we decided to use oriental pearl As it's the best we have seen so far

Prom dress straps fitted at a cost of £60. One strap came off before I left the house and both had come off by the end of the evening. Staff were rude throughout. Rolling their eyes when I took a while to count the cash out and speaking to each other in a language that I could not understand. I have emailed ten times so far and no response at all. Avoid at all costs!!!!

I went to the Oriental Pearl stall at the National Wedding Show in January 2015. I found my dream wedding dress at their stall, in passing when I had no intention to try on any wedding dresses. I was drawn in by the discount they offered if I put a deposit down (£200) on the dress with the promise that I can visit the shop and try on the dress again to ensure I was still happy with it. My wedding wasn't until April 2016, so I was told to call to book an appointment to attend in September 2015. In July 2015 I contacted the shop to arrange an appointment for September to try on the wedding dress that I tried on at the Wedding Show. When I called I was informed that I could not try on the dress as they did not have it and that I was required to pay half of the total of the dress, so they could order one in for me to try on. I was shocked at what I was hearing as that was not what I was told at the bridal show, I explained this and they said there was no other way but I could wait until the September 2015 bridal show as they should get another sample of that dress in for me to try. So I booked an appointment for September, the week of my appointment I called to check if they had the dress as promised- I was informed that they had the dress but it was on the van on its way to the show so I couldn't try it- this was despite them being aware that I was going to attend to try the dress on. They then said they will try and retrieve the dress so that I could still come for my appointment. By now I was fed up and just wanted a refund for my deposit- I called the head office and explained that I was messed about and wanted a refund which I was told I could have but they could get the dress for me to try on if I go to the Northfleet shop. I took this option as by now starting my search for dresses at such late notice was not something I wanted to do. The Northfleet shop did get the wedding dress, which I tried on and still loved. So I paid the balance for it -however they did not steam the dress as promised upon collection. Furthermore after my wedding date past Oriental Pearl Bluewater called me to say that they ordered my dress in for me to try! What a joke! I said to them are you serious- my wedding was a few days ago, how is it now you're calling to say you have my wedding dress! My advice to any bride is to avoid this company it's not worth the risk or stress of not getting your wedding dress in time due to this company's incompetency!

I purchased my dress from the Wedding Fair at Glow, Bluewater at the Oriental Pearl pop up shop. 3 months later the dress arrived in and I had my first fitting on Saturday. To say I am THRILLED would be an understatement. I was treated so well and the dress is STUNNING. Very original and gorgeous design. Further alterations came at a cost but I was expecting this. I am very excited to see the dress again in a few weeks. I have been showing pic to my colleagues and friends who think it is very beautiful.

Friend of ,mine recommended the shop as she bought 3 dresses from there, her own wedding dress, 3 bridesmaid ones and also evening dress. I went Oriental Pearl back in January as I am looking for my dream wedding dress. The moment I walked into the shop I felt very welcomed as the staff were smiling and welcoming. The lady that took care of me was very professional, she showed me different dresses and made good suggestions and at the end I have made my decision on my dreamed dress- it was exactly what I was looking for. She was a confident communicator, and very good with suggestions. I really liked the fact that she was showing me out dresses with different styles and spent nearly 2 hours on me. Her treatment towards me was full of enthusiasm and manners. To complete my full appearance she also suggested lovely pearls set bracelet and earrings which looks amazing on me:)She gave me very good price on the whole purchase. I can't thank her enough for the service and the excellent dress and set she suggested and I have bought and I looking forward to my big day now:) if you ever need a place to buy your dress, then Oriental Pearl is the place as you could find amazing dresses. Speak with her and she will find you the perfect dress and jewellery.

An expensive (overpriced imo) dress was purchased from the store (not ordered in), and the lace was found to be completely ripped and ruined when brought home. When returned, we were told no refunds and forced to take an unwanted Credit Note. They do not know, or refuse to acknowledge, their legal obligations under the Sale of Goods Act, and refuse to comminicate. If you find yourself in the same position, I'd recommend contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau, who pass the details on to Trading Standards

Dress arrived too late for the event despite being assured it would be there in plenty of time and it was of really poor quality (stitching ect). Despite being measured in the store for sizing, when it eventually did arrive late it was also far too small. Definitely would not recommend this shop to anyone.

The shop have great selection of dresses and I bought mine recently. The service was excellent, staff were happy to help with anything. I will be back definitely and I will recommend the shop to all my friends.

The dresses are elegant and the service is good.

Couldn't find Orinental Pearl Outlet to write a review. Went to Outlet in Northfleet and had a wonderful experience. My bridal consultant was just what I needed in advising me in my wedding gown. She was the most helpful by far, more than any other shops who I had visited. I listened to her advise because she made it such an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend visiting the outlet because you receive a one to one service. Definitely ask for her. She made my day. First class service
