Hi to everyone. Today I was need to transfer some money to USA and I start google it ;) So what I found? I found OFX ClearFX Global Money Transfer guys and I was thinking to try, why not?

ClearFX cannot match the rate given by my bank - NBAD - for dirham. Companies like ClearFX can no longer operate in the UAE either. When using ClearFX, dirham have to be transferred to an offshore account (in my case in the UK) and this can only be done for sterling by going into the local bank. All in all, don't bother with them if transferring money to UK.

I needed to transfer money from the UK to Australia and this service worked very well. Very attentive and friendly staff with a straight forward process, and good rates too - certainly better than the big banks.

You will need to provide proof of identity but this is done easily and everything can be done online. They're very accessible and you won't need to hold on any line to get through - there's no dodgy call centre here! Once you've put your order through, they will call you to confirm, which I felt was very reassuring.

I would definitely use this service again and highly recommend it to all.

I will start by saying that I am glad I decided to use ClearFx rather than make a transfer through my bank. The exchange rate was much higher and we avoided all of the fees associated with international transfers. I must admit I was very hesitant at first. There aren't very many reviews about the clear fx online, so I was a little scared that I was going to send my money away and never see it again. Fortunately it did turn up in my bank account! We spoke to people on the phone numerous times and every person we did speak with was polite and helpful. It took a bit of time to get the identification requirements in order (you have to send certified copies of identification and proof of your bank account via cheque or other means). Once everything was in order it went smoothly from there. They even accomodated our request to change the amount we wanted to send. Overall, good company, good prices, will use again.
