“Appalling customer service and failed to deliver”

Blinds UK sent a delivery confirmation. On the day they were due to arrive they said the cords were out of stock but could supply with another. They are now saying these can't be delivered for another 2 weeks. They were ordered one month ago and so will have taken over 6 weeks if they fulfill the order. Don't be fooled by the promise that they will be despatched in 7 working days - more like 42 days + . Customer service is a waste of time too. All they say is they can email production, or I can email them. Absolutely pointless.

“Disappointed!”

After placing an order over 4 weeks ago with the promise of 'Pre Xmas' delivery for some Roman Blinds I received a telephone call advising delivery would be before 19, December. This week I received a 'no reply' email advising the blinds I ordered would not be in stock until January. No phone call to explain the situation or even clarify I had received the email. Obviously business and client satisfaction is not important to BlindsUK.Net. Very strange that other companies are now advertising 'discontinued fabric' on my chosen fabric which concerns me that this company would not deliver even in January. In this competitive market place customer service is important and this is one company I most certainly will not be using again EVER.

“Avoid at all costs”

Terrible company to deal with. Hoops to go through to make any contact to talk to a person. 7day delivery is a fabrication. Day 11 I had to chase them. They told me they did not have fabric but failed to call. Day 15 they offer me compensation and would then submit order.complete chaos and an unpleasant person. avoid unless you willing to be held over a barrell.

“Worst customer service”

The worst customer service I've ever had! Waiting three days for delivery, but they failed three times. Eventually told me they lost my goods! The sales team even hung up my phone after I requested my refund. Super rude and unprofessional company!!!

“Wooden blinds”

Ordered 6 wooden blinds for a bay window. One was badly scratched on the head rail. Refused direct replacement and offered a few pounds compensation and touch up paint. The customer service was poor and rather dismissive. Beware buying from here. The products are ok, but if there is a problem they don't want to know.

“Sent wrong blinds terrible packaging, rude customer...”

Terrible online service, Blindsuk sent the wrong order out which they then outright denied, basically saying you are wrong and tough luck, email response was very rude and blunt to the courteous email I sent. We ordered from the 'wood' section of their website, metal flimsy blinds arrived, not what we wanted or ordered. Totally ignored the complaint that the order made on the 27th of December arrived on the 14th of January, compared to their quoted 5 day dispatch, even given the holiday season this delay was simply not good enough, they claimed that the factory was closed until the 3rd of Jan which would be fair enough as said given the season but this should of been explained or at least mentioned at time of ordering, it was not. Box arrived smashed at both ends, packing very flimsy and lightweight, poorly packed internally, after picking up the box the blinds literally slid out of the box from either end of the packing, thankfully the blinds were not damaged. Original ordering process online was also a nightmare when trying to arrange delivery to my work address, was far more stressful that it should of been, very inarticulate website. Had it not been for the recommendation of a friend I would not have used them. The blinds will do as a stop gap until I can get those that I wanted. I do not recommend this company in anyway, CAVEAT EMPTOR.

“Most disgustingly bad company to deal with”

I've used BlindsUK on a number of occasions, and in fairness to them, when they get it right, they are no problem at all. You order, you receive a confirmation, you receive your blinds, as simple and as straight forward as it gets. When they get it wrong, wow! They know how to really look after their customers. Having spent close to £800 with them, I ordered a set of five blinds for my living room bay window, of which, four arrived via TNT, with one of them missing and declared lost by the courier. I contacted BlindsUK via their telephone number on their site, and insisted the blind was missing, they said they would investigate and get back to me, i heard no more so had to contact them again. Contact and communication is where they really excel in, in the worst form possible. They have a customer services team which is only contactable via their Sales team, not by phone, but by internal email or skype, so you will never get an answer on the telephone from someone directly in their customer service team, only via an email message. I was told that the blind had been deemed lost and they would send out a replacement the following week. The week past and there was no sign of the blind, or any form of contact from them, so it was left to me to contact them again to see what was happening. Unbelievably they claimed it had been lost again, and then they said it hadn't been remade, but would get me another blind out the following week. So, another week passes, and another failed delivery, and yet again failed communication with me as to where the blind was this time. Three weeks on from the original delivery I am sat waiting for the blind again, with no courier tracking information again, and surprise surprise no sign of the blind. This is where the fun begins, in calling their Sales team (as no member of the customer service team will make human voice contact with any of their customers) to find out what on earth is going on, i was informed, via the customer services team, that the blind would be remade again, but that the grey cords I had originally ordered were out of stock until January of next year. They offered me a refund of the cheapest blind on the order, which was an insult after all the hassle and inconvenience they've caused me on this. I've currently got three of the five blinds hanging in my living room windows, with the whole world able to look in on me and my family. According to their returns and refunds policy they have some badly written excuses about made to order products not being returnable or refundable, so they basically have you where they want you and will treat you like a no one in the process. They no longer answer my calls, they continually cut me off when calling on a withheld number, they don't respond to any email communication. If you look this company up you will find it impossible to review their company on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, or any form of social media. They even have their company address as hidden as possible, which turns out to be an office in Coventry with no direct number, or even a VAT number to trace the Directors. Absolutely despicable company which has no regard for their customers.

“never answer phone or email queries”

I have been trying to get hold of this company constantly for 2 days, I have left an answerphone message, I have emailed, they haven't bothered to respond to either, I have lost count of the times I have phoned- after 6 rings it goes to answerphone. I have not placed my order with them and now do not intend to. As my order was for 6+ blinds they have missed out on a good order plus I have alot of contacts whom I would now tell not to bother giving them any business...there are plenty of other good suppliers' of blinds out there just look at the reviews on the internet.

“Don't Go Near!”

Absolutely terrible. Very good prices but sub sub standard service. Presumably this is why they never answer their telephone. They have admitted that both of my blinds are faulty one too short, one with a faulty mechanism but have only offered to give me trade price to buy another one for the one with the faulty mechanism to be replaced ..... but wait for it..... only at the shorter length which would in effect force me into having both replaced if I don't want them to be at different lengths. Ridiculous. I've never heard of a company being so poor on service and I used to have an interior shop.

I have e mailed regarding an order placed on the 9/11/14 and still no blinds and no answer to when I can expect them. There site says next day delivery? There is no phone number. Terrible service, I would not use this company again.

“wrong colour blinds”

I placed an order for made to measure wood venetian blinds but requested three sample colours beforehand. When the blinds arrived although they are very nice they bear no resemblance whatsoever to the colour sample sent to me. I have tried ringing but just get a message saying contact them by e mail or leave a message. I have left a message three hours ago but haven't had a call back. I have tried using their e mail contact form but after several attempts given up as all I get is a message saying my e mail is either too long or too short but no indication which. I would not recommend this company although the product appears to be good albeit wrong their customer service is very poor.

“Where's my blinds!!”

I ordered 2 sets of blinds over two weeks ago and haven't had so much as a confirmation email to tell me when they will arrive. I am not happy. I have tried to call and no-one answers the phone - leave a message and they don't get back to you. Seriously considering getting a refund and going else where! Absolutely disgusting service and will NEVER use again. The money was taken out of my account quick enough though! FUMING!!!

we just bought a blind from uk blinds when we seen it on line it looked lovely when it came it was nothing like the picture, it was not cheap but it looks it we have taken it down and put it in the bin most things we take to the charity shop but we are to embarassed to do so with this blind be warned

“To awful for words”

I wish I had read about their reviews before placing business with this company. It is just awful. Everything has to be done via email.They hide from customers. They will not talk to a customer on the phone. This isn't a good way to do business BlindsUK!. If you ring - You simply will not get an answer. It may take days before you will receive an email back. They block all negative reviews in trust Pilot by objecting to all negatives that alone sets alarm bells ringing. I ordered in September, They got the order wrong, by blaming me for measuring them wrong. The first order turned up with the blinds being 2 and a half inches too short. Then they have charged me extra to put it right. I still haven't received my second lot of blinds. It was in September when I ordered them. Were now nearly in November. They are more than happy to take your money - but not on the day of despatch. They and take your money on day of order. You have no idea when they are dispatched because guess what - They don't tell you. I wouldn't use this company again if they were the last company to ever sell blinds in the UK. You will be out of pocket using this company. My advise beware. Advise no to use go elsewhere. It will cost you more in the end.

I wish I had read the reviews before placing business with this company. It is just awful they hide from customers and don't answer queries. If you have a problem they will NOT answer they break consumer rights law. They block all negative reviews in rust Pilot by objecting to all negatives that alone sets alarm bells ringing. I ordered weeks ago and still have not received my blinds, they will not answer customer calls they hide form customers and take your money on day of order not day of dispatch so you will be out of pocket using this company. AVOID!!!

“Avoid this company like the plague”

Two sets of blinds ordered - one requested with drop of 74cm was delivered with drop of 74 inches. Company said usual to have extra material. blind is enormous and looks terrible. Second blind delivered with wrong headrail - the cheaper one but wont refund the difference. Takes them 48 hours and longer to reply to each request as there is no phone number. Terrible 'customer service' and take my advice - do NOT use this company as you are left high and dry if there is a problem.

“Blind doesn't fit. No refund or replacement”

I ordered 2 blinds. 1 website but 2 factories. 1 blind fits nicely, the other is too small. The 2 windows are the same size and i gave the same measurements. I complained and asked for a new blind or a refund. After 2 months,lots of emails and millions of measurements they said if they send me a new blind it won't fit and instead of a refund they offered me a 5% discount if I want to order a new blind! Word of warning, if things go wrong they will do their best to not to give you anything!

“No communication will not answer phone or return email ”

Product is good except they supplied the wrong size fixing brackets for two of the vertical blinds, easy enough to rectify..... hmm well no it's not they will not answer the phone after multiple attempts and do not respond to the online customer service all be it claimed a response is between 2 and 24hours. I have purchased from this company before and it has been trouble free. Now my option is only to make the claim against the credit card company. Very poor will not ever use this company again and certainly will not recommend them only recommend you don't use them
