Lings Watton, Norfolk

Booked my motorcycle in for a new front tyre on Tuesday 10th and as the MOT was getting close, booked the test at the same time.

MOT was booked for Friday the 13th 9am and as I couldnt get there Thursday evening, I dropped it off Thurday morning. I work nights so went to bed and woke up earlier than I would normally Friday noon ready to collect my bike.

Had a message on my phone from Lings left at 0950 asking to call them, I did so at 1530 and was told they couldnt get my tyre till Monday.

They had from Tueday noon to get the tyre in and I dont understand how a major motorcycle dealership, probably the biggest in Norfolk and Suffolk couldnt source a tyre in good time, nevermind at the last minute. They seemed at a loss as to why I was so annoyed with them and I was told that if I didnt like it, I could pick up my bike and take it elsewhere. Thats exactly what Ive done. Found a good dealers 25 miles away and they have a level of customer service that Lings can only dream of. Instead of riding a 4 mile round trip for my bike needs I now ride a 50 mile round trip, its worth that just to know that Lings wont be getting another penny off me!
