The first part of the process worked well and I ordered an extra 5 copies in order to benefit automatically from their free archive service. However, after confirming I was happy with the e-draft, the company then started asking me to pay for the archive service. Strangely, all the email addresses no longer worked, phone calls would be charged for and I had to go through their Live Assistance Support. Half a day later, I have still not heard back. Reading the small print in the terms and conditions, it seems that this "optional" extra free archive service additionally requires a letter sent to a freepost address to arrive within 5 days. I have now sent that, plus one with a stamp to their main office address. I'm not very impressed by having to jump through so manny hoops for something they presented as being automatic.

Don't understand why they post the Deed Poll to you in your previous name. I know the DP is not legal under signed and witnessed but you should have a choice. You can legally call yourself anything without a Deed Poll anyway! For example, for a woman escaping DV in Refuge, this could be awkward and a risk. However, the whole process overall is simple and well explained. Copies could be cheaper though!

I found the online process very simple and easy to use. I had a prompt response but had a little difficulty accessing my ecopy via the link provided. Once I obtained this it was straightforward and a lot of useful information was provided.

Cant really review until i have recieved my deed poll but so far its been ok

Copy I sent in was correct, proof copy was not, wanted to charge me £4.25 to change it....I refused, also called on 3 occasions but no one called me back. When I stated that unwanted my money back, I received a correct proof

My concern about the service is that it wasn't clear the need of taking my Deed Poll to a UK registered solicitor or UK registered notary public to witness my signature on the document. I wasn't expecting to pay more to complete the legalisation process of my Deed Poll. It also wasn't clear that after sign the Deed Poll document in front of a solicitor/notary public it should be post to the Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes for legalisation. It would be very helpful if all this details were informed before I have made my purchase, including the address of the Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes.
