Faulty Machine Or Faulty Discs, But Zero Customer Service!!!
We purchased the Suchard hot chocolate discs over the summer for our Tassimo machine and the t-discs are absolutely useless as the chocolate is clearly not mixing with the water. A lot of the syrup never leaves the disc, so the hot chocolate tastes really bitter. I spoke to customer service and offered to privately send them a video of the problem, but they were clearly not interested and did not want me to send them the link when I offered to do so. I asked for a courier pickup or return address label (to send back the product) and they said they did not provide them, but reluctantly said that I could post the Suchard back and that someone would take a look at them in a "few weeks." Mondelez International (the parent company) needs to work on its customer service as it is obvious that the t-discs that I was provided have started to dry up months prior to their expiration date (February/March 2014.) It may have been an issue with my particular batch, but the end result is the same... a disappointed Tassimo customer stuck with eighty discs that taste like dirty water.
It appears that a few other reviewers have had a similar experience to mine ("never seems to empty properly, tastes watery", etc.) Before reading some of these negative reviews, I assumed that I was the only one, so I tried to resolve the problem by contacting Tassimo directly. Unfortunately, Tassimo did not have any real interest and would not take any responsibility for my discs being faulty or dried up. Even though my poor experience with these Tassimo discs are in the minority (thankfully), I hope others will give my review a thumbs up, so that the parent company, Mondelez International takes the issue more seriously and addresses the quality control issues that some Tassimo customers are experiencing.

Shocking Customer Service
I did a great deal of research before buying this machine in December 2012. I bought it for its green credentials and the ability to recycle the discs. I too have had problems with exploding discs from time to time and the coffee not being that hot but more of a concern was much to Kraft foods claiming you can recycle the discs and the still promote this on their website even now, you cannot! they have put a limit of 3000 participants on the scheme and had i known that at the time i would definately not bought the machine. I've contacted the customer care line (how thay come up with that and kept a straight face beggars belief). On two occasions i was told that my complaint had been logged and someone would get back to me (you guessed it..never happened as i suspected. KRAFT foods shame on you for claiming and promoting such things and really its a token gesture and you don't really care. I shall be writing to the president of Kraft Foods UK who ironically is currently the chair of the Food & Drink Federation’s Sustainability Steering Group.

Two New Defective Out Of The Box
Purchased 1. Burnt, chemical taste on first cup after running cleaning disc.
Returned the first. Took home another one. Same problem. Why are they making these things to be such junk?
I have an original by Braun. Never had any problem. Still works great !!
Shame on you Bosch Tassimo for trying to sell such inferior trash.
A great idea killed by shoddy manufacturing and even shoddier quality control.
Taste Loss With Filter
I bought Tassimo this Christmas (2012) but soon found that water filter rendered the taste of water to that of distilled water! Bland, annoying .... It made tea coffee and tea equally bland. So I REMOVED the filter and get my preferred taste.
I am a tea drinker and use Lipton Yellow label for decades. Firstly disc were not available, secondly I was appalled what I was throwing in garbage, plastic, lots of it. So I cut the bar code of a tea brand and taped it on the cleaning disc. Now I have instant one cup size water dispenser. It is good.

Great Machine, Coffee Sucks
Great machine easy to use, quick. BUT, the coffee sucks. I've tried all of the T Discs and all they make is brown water, not real coffee. Until the discs improve, I'm going back to my drip coffee maker.
Don't Buy Unlesss You Have A Microwave Oven...
Coffee is not hot enough.

Great, Except For The Explosions
The Tassimo supplies me with amazing beverages. I love it.
The only issue I have is that it has a knack for exploding milk disks everywhere- not a catastrophic issue (to me), though it does create a right mess. Only happens one in every 20 or so times.
I've no experience with after-sales so can't comment there.
Design fits in nicely with modern kitchen appliances, though looks a little dated with its brushed metal fascia.

Love Flavours And Design. Dislike The Way I Have T
Love flavours and design. Dislike the way I have to add extra water to top up a mug. I want a button which selects cup or mug. Temperature could be much hotter too, I have to pre heat the milk in microwave - I HATE LUKE WARM COFFEE!
Very handy gadget though and use it at least once a day so good value for money.

I have two tassimos; the t-45 and the t-65. Both machines are really great, but lacking when it comes to quality of beverages and bad CS. Starbucks was a plus for tassimo but with the partnership ending, this may be it for the t-dics too.

Received This For Christmas. This Is My Third Tass
Received this for Christmas. This is my third Tassimo machine. Bosch seem to have corrected all the little niggles I had with my previous machines....i can now fit my large mugs on it, much easier to clean, overflow doesnt need emptying all the time and more pressure when making drinks!. I'm very happy with this one and will be using it daily.
