I Hope That My Experience Will Save Someone The Ti

I hope that my experience will save someone the time and money this company cost me by convincing them to avoid them in the first place. It's hard to believe that ordering a part can be so complicated. The problem started with them sending the part to my neighbour not me, even though they had my correct address. It was then compounded by the fact that the status of my order never left 'processing' and they ignored my emails for a week. Given that my car was off the road and as far as I knew they hadn't even picked my order yet I sourced the part elsewhere. My neighbour then kindly delivered the part to me (we work opposite hours so it took some time) and I emailed them to return it. At which point they told me I had signed for the parcel which I found quite hard to believe being me.

After a few emails trying to explain they did offering me a full refund and I thought I'd finally get some customer service. They actually only refunded the part price less VAT and after another email they gave me the VAT back still short postage both ways I gave up just wanting to not have to deal with them anymore.

It seems like a simple mistake (although not one i'd expect from a responsible company) but after making it they missed many opportunities to fix it. Having a proper order status (or even not having it if it didn't work) answering any of my emails about where the part was or just giving me the full refund they promised would have helped but they chose not to do these things.
