London, Hart's Boatyard

The best thing about Harts is its great location right on the Thames in Surbiton.You can sit outside looking right over the river and enjoy a good choice of beers and ciders.

Downstairs is a bar and upstairs is the seated restaurant though you can get food in the bar too. The food choice is decent though it seems like they are trying a little to hard with the menu. I had a tuna steak with Japanese stir fry and wasabi mash. The other people I was with had lamb rack, risotto and a burger. Generally we were happy but it was nothing particularly special.

The atmosphere is really good and the staff are friendly.

I would go and eat there again but a beer on the outside balcony is the best!
