I Have Been In The Website Industry For Some Time

I have been in the website industry for some time as a front end web developer. I design using Photoshop, code html and css in Dreamweaver, and perform various other tasks, such as video editing and conversion, sound production etc.

I have been using dell machines for the last 3 years and I have had a poor experience with the customer service, however, this review is not about that. The hardware I have received from Dell has always been very good, and this is no exception. the hardware specification is built to handle processing heavy tasks, it has , it has , it has , it has Nvidia Quadro gpu, Xeon 2.80 ghz cpu, 4gb of ram, and was supplied with windows 7 (which is just brilliant, best version since windows 98). I have used macs as well, but due to making websites on windows platforms and working with .net, aspx, and php Linux, I use a pc for the bulk of my work.

Having used this pc for a week, I have been able to work faster and more efficiently.. it has not struggled to keep up with me as my last pc did frequently, I have no graphical anomalies such as glitching when using CPU heavy software, all cs4's advanced features work well and FAST, such as animated zoom and smoothing when zoomed.

I use a Dell Studio 1558 laptop out of work and it has a similar performance level to that, and that was purchased as the best available at the time, so at the moment, my personal and work machines are very much working at the same level, which makes moving from one to another a very easy task.

Very happy, although I highly recommend getting a better mouse than the dell wired one, poorly designed and feels very cheap, but that's not really the pc's problem now is it.
