Martina Cole - Hard Girls

This is the second Martina Cole book that i have read and i really enjoyed it. I had trouble putting the book down as it was so good. I didnt guess the Killer but thought i knew who it was and turned out not to be him. I cant wait to read more of her work

Is a fellow Essex girl losing her touch? Hard Girls was predictable almost from the beginning of the book, too many obvious pointers to those of us who recognise Martina's style, in fact, I found her last three books laborious and difficult to get into,and frankly, boring. Being a fan of long standing I persevered and was mostly disappointed. I have bought Martina's books up till now, but will in future use my library source, which is free. Get back up there Martina - you have dedicated readers who deserve more respect.
