I purchased the Bosch AHS 48-16 Electric Hedge Cutter item in June 2008. April 2008 after spending the winter in the garage attached to the house and the battery had a life of 10 minutes, then 5, and now it will not work. Bosch tells me that I must pay them to investigate if this is my fault (battery is only covered for 6 months) and that a new battery is going to cost almost as much as the device itself.
Factor in the replacement cost of the battery (even with a three year life) and this is a costly option.

I found this review not helpful because...
<br/>Erm, the 48-16 is not a cordless model.
