2 weeks long stay carparking in ncp birmingham booked on internet by friends for us. Found it difficult to find a space, no help or signs around, first time in long stay, we found a space and parked, other cars all over lines so I parked so they could get into there cars and my wheels were on white line, returned from two week holiday to a £100 fine. We counted around us more than 10 tickets on car windscreens. I had to fight it and they made out I was a criminal and on this occassion (never park again in ncp) they will waiver. Legally I found out I hadn't a leg to stand on because of there small print. The voice on the end of the intercom was about useless. When arrived we pulled ours and kids baggage to shuttle bus and told to go back over to hut and wait, so we pulled them back over and waited 10min's, the driver then indicated that we can now go back over and get on bus, it took another 25mins circling around carpark and cramming on as many people Like a third world service.

I had pre booked 10 days parking from the 25 May, in the Long stay capr park 1. I arrived at approximately 6.20 am, in plenty of time for our flight at 9.00 am. I drove up and down the aisle of cars, to several corners of the car park for some time without success. There were no attendants providing assistance, or visible signs indicating where we might find any vacant spaces. I have parked at Birmingham NCP car parks 1 & 2 many times, and never experienced such difficulties. We saw other cars were also trawling around experiencing the same problem. The service NCP offered on the day was poor.
When I prepay for a parking space I expect there to be a guaranteed parking space with clear indications as to where to find spaces, not spend an anxious 15 minutes circling the car park, wondering if I am going to be able to park at all. The bus then took another 10 minutes to arrive.

I found this review very helpful because... I had exactly the same problem and then parked in the only available space with my wheels on the white lines-- £100.00 fine, the car park had fine tickets on at least 10 cars that we could see around me and it took 35 minuits to get to airport on overcrowded shuttle bus with the kids, it was like a second world bus service.
