Economy Bookings took a part payment of $485.28 when I booked a rental vehicle through them. On pick up from Europcar I was informed that they had no record of the part payment and that they were in no way associated with Economy Bookings. I was required to pay the full rental price. Stay away from Economy Bookings. .

Has anyone rented a car in Israel from them and does their full coverage eliminate the need to take any other insurance from the car company?

I have been trying to cancel my order for my rental car for march 18th in Seattle #B61055824. I've been unable for a week now, how do I cancel it?

The only chance you may have is through your credit card company. Economy Bookings is a sham company, and they have likely booked you with Fox Rental Cars. Fox is also a sham company and they will add 20% to the price you've already paid when you pick-up the car. They will also badger you to upgrade to a more expensive car, and to purchase more insurance.

Dear Sirs, I’m not sure I can help in the case you mention but perhaps others. My point is that one cannot trust “Economy Bookings” at all. They behaved abnormally (to say the least – they took a money that was not reimbursed as it should have been) concerning a car rented by me with Avis through them, and I have presented a European claim which is being considered by the UE Commission.
