I used to really like Mackies honeycomb ice cream but I have avoided buying it for several years because of health issues. I am now in a good place health-wise and treated myself to a Tub of Mackies honeycomb ice cream!! Extremely disappointed when I opened it as it looked pale and similar to other cheap ice creams. The taste is non existent there is NO creamy taste and the odd blob of some caramelized nugget smaller than any nugget I have ever seen does not make for a pleasant experience I will certainly look elsewhere in future. I would recommend any supermarkets or shops to give up buying it or you'll get left with it. Totally disappointed....

Honeycomb is a rip off.. it’s vanilla With scattered honeycomb. Really disappointed.

Bought a tub for the first time in a while. Am struggling to find a tasty, good quality vanilla ice cream and Mackies does not improve my chances. Almost tasteless. I won't be buying it again.

Not where near as good as it used to be. It used to taste creamy and now it tastes powdery as though it got fine sand in it. Horrible. Will not buy any more.

The most disgusting ice cream we have ever tried. Tastes like stale milk and contains no vanilla so there is literally nothing to add taste. Will never purchepse again.,,straight in the bin.

Nasty cheap mouthfeel, synthetic taste. Will never buy their products again.

Bought it and found it to have a plastic synthetic taste, with an unpleasant after taste, I did return to shop for refund. Would not recommend this product at all, much better products on the market.

i bought a tub and was disgraced, Carte D'Or ice cream was 10 times better.

My hubbie and I both found the taste of Mackie's luxury dairy icecream disgusting. We binned the rest of the tub, so it was a complete waste of money. The ingredients list whole milk as 64% and double cream as only 16% of the total, with various other less wholesome ingredients. No wonder it tastes so bad - icecream should be made of frozen whipped CREAM, not MILK!! Will never buy it again.
