Pepsi Raw

I recently went to my local Asda store to buy some drinks for the evening. So I went to the soft drinks and immediately started looking at cola drinks and came across Pepsi Raw.

~Cost~

The price of it was very reasonable, it was £1.97 for three 300 ml glass bottles and had been knocked down from it's usual price of £2.77. This is one of the main reasons that I bought it , that and I had read about Pepsi Raw before and never tried it because I assumed it was only sold in the US.

~Packaging~

Pepsi Raw comes in four 300 ML glass bottles in a cardboard carrier (So it's pretty much all recycalable) It had the first time I've seen any cola drink in a glass bottle for years, although getting into the bottles with a bottle opener is a lot more tricky than just opening a lid off of a plastic bottle.

~Texture and taste~

It has pretty much the same texture as original Pepsi or Pepsi Max etc, but the taste is one of the big differences between the prudct. Pepsi raw boasts it is made out of natural ingredients as clearly stated on the packagaing but it has affetced the taste of the drink. After the first mouthful I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tatsed like but after the first few sips I realised. It tasted exactly like Tescos own brand Cola drink and 37p for a 2 litre bottle. I actually struggled drinking all of those bottles of drink I found the taste that revolting and eventually ended up just giving it to my younger brother to drink.

~The Good~

.Nice packaging makes it very easy to get dispose of.

.Glass bottles are a nice touch, remnds me of drinking Coke when I was younger.

~The bad~

.Tastes very cheap, and you would be better of buying other Pepsi brands or Tescos own brand Cola.

. Was reasonably priced but was only on special offer not worth £2.77.
