I wish I came across the reviews before I placed the order. The prices seems reasonable. I guess that was what attracted me. (I wouldn't call it cheap as I have ordered the same item in the past for nearly the same price from a different retailer and it worked for about 2yrs). I ordered a replacement battery for a Samsung laptop. It is yet to be delivered. The tracking number (from myHermes) they provided claims it's been delivered. Had few web chats with Hermes they claim the address to be correct and insist that an investigation into the matter can only be raised by the Retailer and the Retailer has refused to reply my emails and follow the procedure. I can believe I fell for their website/product. To think reputable companies such as HERMES, PAYPAL & GFS could be linked to a company like this... It's a dead end with Hermes. GFS could not locate them. Just spoke to Paypal and they've advised to create an account before looking to help but having come across a review about how unhelpful they were...oh well! The reviews that claim to have received their items is very difficult to believe. They were probably paid to review. The only way to contact them is by email and the person I dealt with has stopped replying me.

Ordered a replacement battery in august.....nothing! Tried to e/mail...tried to call...neither work, this company is a sham! Do not order anything from these people you will never receive it!!

We ordered a laptop battery 2 weeks ago and paid £40 via PayPal..it never came and we have tried to get in touch with this company on numerous occasions with no success...keep away from them

i bought an msi battery, i paid by paypal, as resolt they said they send my battery by Hermes, i got an track number and according to hermes the pack was delivered, but after 2 months i still whait for my battery. so nobady cand help me, paypal when i complete an claim to get money back asked me to return the product! lol if i dot have product how can i return it?

Wish I'd read the reviews here first. Worked perfectly for a few days then went completely dead. Probably a return or factory reject. Masquerading as a British company is disingenuous. Avoid.

At first I thought everything was OK. The battery was delivered fairly quickly, and actually fitted perfectly. However, it only lasted about 6 months before the power started to decline, and would only power my laptop for about one hour. It declined rapidly from then on, so after ten months it was only lasting about 10 - 15 minutes, and it was supposed to be "extra" power. I emailed the company to claim under the warranty in September ( the warranty ran out in November ) which is when the run around started. Their replies were gobbledegook, and it was obvious from then that the service was useless, and the warranty worthless. My advice - pay a bit more, buy from a UK based company, and steer clear of this bunch of jokers. The people on this review site that left five stars were very lucky, but the disatisfied customers are twice as many as the satisfied ones.

Although this company used uk.co you are actually dealing with a Chinese company directly. The warranty and returns policy is worthless as you need to return the battery to China at your own cost. This is impossible as batteries are banned export postal items. Considering all the EU red tape British based companies need to comply with it appears Chinese companies can operate with impunity. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with on the internet.

Paid for Dell battery - arrived from China damaged due to poor packing.Case broken so couldn't use. E-mailed service for replacement but even after sending their Order confirmation back to them, proof of payment, photos of packaging with delivery number etc etc. their "Service" dept. say I possibly bought it from somebody else. Not worth contacting Trading standards! Lesson learned.

Have had the same problem as most other people. Wrong battery sent and told to send back at my expence. Do like I have. Bin it and put it down to experience. They should not be trading and no they are not UK based.

Wish I had never started trading with PCBattery.co.uk - Despite giving the correct model number of a Dell laptop, they sent me an incorrect battery through a courier via their UK depot! When I advised that this battery needs returning, I was asked to POST IT TO CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i INSISTED THAT WHY COULD I NOT RETURN IT TO THEIR UK DEPOT?? PCBATEERY REFUSED AND INSISTED THAT I POST IT TO CHINA AT MY COST - RELUCTANTLY I AGREED POST OFFICE AT FIRST DECLINED TO ACCEPT AND THEN ACCEPTED THE BATTERY WHICH IN DUE COURSE, DESTROYED DUE TO DANGEROUS GOODS ACT WITH A LETTER ADVISING ME THAT IN FUTURE, NEVER TO EVER POST A BATTERY!! I have told pcbATTERY that I will be reporting this to Pay-pal and they are ARROGANTLY non-chalant and insist that they will only refund once they received the battery WHICH WAS INCORRECT DISPATCH TO START WITH. To me this is no longer a money issue but a question of trading ethics and principal - if anyone has a solution IN REPORTING THEM , please advise ps: tEHY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT THE COMPANY IS CHINESE such a con!!! Replacement Battery for Compaq lap-top. I wrote a review about 3 weeks ago about this rip-off, fraudulent, swindling company - which are not UK based at all, as their name would suggest, but are trading direct from China. The battery I received bore no resemblance to the one in my laptop and when I e-mailed to complain I was told I would have to return it to China, at my expense and furthermore would I, please, state its value as not exceeding £20. This for something for which I had been charged £30! Of course, I had no intention of attempting to return it, at a cost of around £30 delivery charges alone, and took the matter up with my Credit Card provider, through whom I had fortunately elected to pay PayPal. I printed off the complete e-mail exchange I had with this company and sent this, together with copies of a number of postings from this website, as evidence of the sort of "company" these rip-off merchants are. My Credit Card provider is returning the money to me. So - anyone else who has fallen victim to these people, DO NOT let it go. DO NOT even ATTEMPT to return the item. Make a fuss via whatever facility you used to make the payment and continue to make a fuss until you get your money back. Personally, I am now contacting PayPal to let them know the sort of people who are using their facility and suggesting that they withdraw it straight away. Ann Berry

I ordered a new battery for my laptop on May 1st and paid it with PayPal. On May 13th I received a mail from the company saying the battery will be delivered in 10-18 days and a link with a Malaysian mail tracking code. I haven't received the battery yet. I have escalated a claim via PayPal and wait to get my money back in the near future. I really cannot recommend this company except to my enemies.

Needed new battery for PB laptop. PC Battery has a co.uk website & email so felt reassured plus Warranty & Returns policy looked good. Battery sent from China - must be illegal as the logistics company states no lithium batteries. My laptop "couldn't detect" this battery despite it looking like the correct one to use. I got exactly the same replies from "Victoria" as others have ie return to an address in China & they couldn't afford to pay for shipping. I emailed saying it was illegal for me to post out this battery & was told to find another logistics company! The box had a Portsmouth address on it & this can be found in Company info websites like Duedil - 2 guys are "directors". I went to Paypal for a refund. PC Battery or Global batterries.net didn't respond and initially Paypal suggested I would get a refund if I returned the battery duh! I pointed out that this would be illegal & postage over £80 on a £24 battery plus, and this is the most important, the company stated that they would pay for shipping back any incorrect batteries. I got my full refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF IT'S GUISES.

This company sends you the wrong battery and when you send it back you get no battery and no refund. Do not boy from them.

I ordered my battery for my laptop a month ago... I waited patiently, I then chased it up after 3weeks! Today I received an e-mail telling me their logists people can't deliver to my address and could I give them another address! I've asked for a refund, I've had no response. Does anyone know of a contact telephone number as there is none on the website?

Seems a very familiar story ???? Looking at past reviews it seems like it is!!!! Purchased battery from pcbattery.co.uk believing I am dealing with a UK based company which they are not. The battery that is posted to me is wrong, the company refuses to take responsibility and asks for item to be posted back at my expense even though companies policy states that they will cover the cost of faulty/wrongly sent items (stock standard reply from this idiotic company is "sorry we can not afford the cost" referring to the return postage costs. Put transaction in dispute with paypal who award in my favour but as with other paypal customers insist that I cover cost of postage and send recorded delivery then they will refund. Reminded paypal of UK regulations / airmail regulations regarding posting lithium batteries and that they were jointly responsible as with any credit card company to compensate me under the Sales of Goods Act as amended and finally pcbttery.co.uk's own return policy. Without any explanation apart from "thanks for your cooperation" the refund was in my account within 12 hours without having to return battery. I suggest that everyone does this if they have purchased through paypal or credit card and do not give up.Just be aware that if you do go through paypals dispute centre there is a 45 day cut off which pcbattery.co.uk is well aware of so they purposely do delaying tactics. Finally thanks to the other reviewers that left invaluable information that helped me beat this company. This company is defiantly unscrupulous and calculating sending out items regardless whether they work or are wrong knowing the majority of people will send them back and give up. Paypal also need to take responsibility, looking at the reviews they have had enough disputes to set alarm bells ringing yet they to seem to turn a blind eye and put their head in the sand wen it comes to this company.

I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop, this took some two weeks to arrive following a message that it was being shipped from China, clearly a "slow boat from China". Following installation, the battery has been malfunctioning and now will not hold charge. After numerous emails I have been requested to return the battery to an address in Shangai, for inspection.I have requested a refund but this has not been forthcoming. I have declined the request to repack the item and send it to China and so it is stalemate. I have used the internet on many occasions to make purchases from a number of companies but this is one that has MISFIRED!
