Absolutely appalling agency, no contact from them at reasonable times.

Change shifts an hour before start time.

Abrupt and downright cheeky people.

Avoid like the plague, much better around.

Over the past year I've had 7 different jobs, all part-time and temping contracts. Topstaff gave me a job, and they were, without a doubt, the worst employment agency I know.

They provide nothing but tedious, miserable jobs nobody else wants to do, and they even resulted in me being fired.

My job consisted of a 9 hour shift, where I did data-entry. We were given a 15 minute break in the morning, a half hour lunch break, and a 15 minute break in the afternoon. It was utterly miserable to work there.

I needed a day off due to family concerns, and contacted my employers, not Topstaff. My employers said that was okay, but then I got contacted by Topstaff who weren't happy at my 'unwarranted day-off', and announced that I was fired. No warning, no second chance, fired, because of a miscommunication. They wouldn't even listen when I tried to explain.

Since then they have refused to contact me. For all they care, I'm dead and buried. They're an employment agency who seem hellbent on making people unemployed.

Ive worked all sorts of shifts for Topstaff. Get on with all the staff there, every place Iv done a shift Iv enjoyed. Worked there 3years and been working almost every week. Give them a try. If you are willing to work they will keep you busy. Some people on here have written bad reviews but i have worked for 3 agencies before and topstaff have been best to me.

I worked on a temp 10weeks with a possible contract after the temp but due to a change no contracts were issued. I had no issues with staff, the company i worked at were all good and keep in touch. After my contract ended i was offered another role but had another job so passed but i would contact again. It was sometimes hard to contact the staff dealing with me by phone but an email and i got answered. I wasnt promised a contract after 10weeks so i cant say i was mislead but was upset i didnt get kept on but some of the reviews on here are a bit tough on what i found a standard agency. I have done shifts in hospitality for topstaff too, can be a busy day but good atmosphere.

What can I say that everyone else hasn't said? Topstaff is ill fit to be running an agency, let alone one that hires for companies such as disclosure. The etiquette and level of respect given by them to their "employees" is outrageous. The long periods of waiting time in between "Urgent" phone calls and other forms of communication is ridiculous.

Not to mention their complete lack of communication between Topstaff and it's ACTUAL employers is mind boggling! there are a large amount of contradictory instructions that are given by topstaff which of course somehow can be used against it's employees.

I want to say that I feel jaded against all Agencies because of Top staff but I am positive that there couldn't be another agency as faecal mattered as these guys. Don't go with them, there's a reason as to why everyone on this site is slamming them.

If your a considering this agency as a driver then I would think twice

You will be treated to bad shifts ,bad payments and a lack of concern

Your just meat to them

Plenty other agencies to try

I am currently working with company and with every shift I've had a some sort of problem with them, from paying me to uniform which was told was fine, to calling to ask something and not being given or answer and just left in the dark. if you contact them you have to keep getting at them before any type of response. I don't how hey even function as a business as its a complete joke how they work and treat their employee's, I would not work with them if I didn't need the money.

This company are a joke. Offered employment then when showing up for first days work, and waiting around for 45 minutes being informed I would not be needed. DO NOT TRUST.
