Lack Of Communication

lack of communication and mis-information which is hugely important for when accurate info is key for any wedding.

The transaction from call to agreeing a price went very well, I was dealing with a team member who was well mannered, he then transferred me to the "payment team" who then mentioned "looks like you've been given a nice little discount there" followed by "there are transaction fee's to pay for each car" so the nice little discount would have been nice if the transaction fee's were mentioned during negotiation.

Moving on, I found out later on that wedding car hire actually source hire company cars, these are not their cars, I think it's tremendously important that customer are fully aware of this, this isn't made clear as I hired 3 cars and found later on that I had to phone 3 different companies to confirm closer to the date and be contacted by all 3 companies to confirm address details. Nightmare of course if you're the groom and are doing this with days before the wedding.

I had a few discrepancies and called wedding care hire on numerous occasions to speak with the person who dealt with me, he was never available and never did call back, to date I haven't spoken to him.

Driver review - The drivers were all very nice and polite, I had a cheerful chatty driver who got us their on time.

Now we're approaching the end of the wedding, 6pm came which was the planned ending and exit, the drivers mentioned that they must leave otherwise they will charge per hour. Now that's understandable, you give a time, you stick to it, but wedding car hire comforted me into a sale by saying "their" drivers fully understand the wedding environment and won't mind if we ran over by at least an hour.

I'm a stikler when it comes to time and so wasn't worried that I was leaving only 40 mins later then planned. My parents and other members left early and missed my cutting of the cake and exit.

TIP: don;t give the real ending time, give a later time as it will still cost the same.

On trustpilot review they tried denying everything and made out it was all my fault. I'm happily married right now progressing on a new life, like I have time to make up crap?? lol.. Anyway beware.

Middle finger to you wedding car Hire. :)

Its a pity that you did not read the review's here before you booked. But this is typical behaviour of them, and their associated companies (Limobroker and Cars for Stars to name but two).. The devil is in the detail. Transaction fees and add-ons are the name of the game so as to squeeze as much money out of the client as possible. Always read the terms before parting with your hard earned money.

Do Not Use

This company is short of a joke. The customer service is poor, the representatives are only after commission and squeeze every penny out of you. They took a deposit from me but then told me the car had been booked out and apparently its 'no longer available' as it took me too long to confirm it, but surely it was available when they took the deposit? Unbelievable service, avoid at all costs.

Do Not Use This Company!!!

Absolute disgrace of a company. Lady from customer services attitude stunk!! Booked wedding car on telephone call they didn't read any T&Cs or tell me any cancellation policy's, didn't tell my that my deposit was non refundable.

Half hour after booking the car I called back to cancel as I didn't realise they were a broker and they told me that I can't have any money back and the lady on the phone rudely told me that they don't have to tell me anything and it was down to me to find out there terms and conditions. I Feel robbed!!!!! They are now threatening me with taking things further because apparently my emails to them are 'aggressive' - which is not true I am just trying to resolve the situation and rightfully get my money back!!

BEWARE! It's not good but everyone should take time to read their terms and conditions as they clearly state that all deposits are non-refundable. They have all sorts of caveats that will increase the cost of your hire, such as £15.00 for a change of the name of the person booking, up to £45.00 to changing the date of the hire, and lots in between. BEWARE!.

This company is also Known as Limo broker, Cars for Stars and others! They have been doing this sort of thing for years and done very well on it!

This Company Are A Rip Off - Do Not Use!!!!!!!

Placed a booking for a wedding car on the 8th April, 2015. Due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel my booking THE NEXT DAY. Only to be told they will not refund a deposit of £120.00!!!!!! Tried telling Rachel Adams that we have not received a service they offer to provide, nobody advised of the terms and conditions, we haven't signed any terms and conditions. She was very rude and arrogant in her behaviour, apparently if you cancel the service this still warrants them taking your money!! Not a nice company, who do not apply treating customers fairly to their trading standards. Will be contacting trading standards and citizens advice bureau!!!!

Hi, the same thing has happened to me today. Did you ever get anywhere with trading standards or citizens advice? The company is a disgrace I don't believe they can get away with this!

Be aware that this is the same company as Limo Broker, and you would be wise to check out their reviews on this site and on the internet. They also trade as Cars for Stars as well as others.

Check their terms and conditions before parting with your hard earned money. Clause 8 “We are unable, therefore to guarantee any specifications to vehicles, including (but not limited to); interior features, possible decorative themes, amounts of inclusive beverages and colour scheme (including body colour) of YOUR vehicle. Clause 11 We reserve the right to change the vehicle requested for a hire by YOU at any time. This includes (but is not limited to) the colour and the style of the vehicle (including model type). By placing a booking a booking, YOU are confirming YOU are accepting this policy, and WE will not be held responsible for claims regarding this policy by YOU against US or our AGENT.

In other words they promise nothing, and if something goes wrong you will not get your money back.
