Fantastic Topclass Villa

I am writing this review from the terrace of this lovely Villa! It is our last day and we will be sad to leave. The villa is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Do bring condiments though, as the villa is left without at any. The pool is gated and secure if you have children and the villa is very secluded. Nice and quiet too with a little noise coming from the Spainsh workers but nothing to grumble about. We have had a lovely relaxing week here and wished we had booked 2! Never mind.. Back to ole Blighty... You will not go wrong if you book this villa.

Villa Rosa The Villa With A Truly Gorgeous View.

We have just come back from one of the best holidays we have had the good fortune to have had.

The Villa Rosa is situated on the Altos de Ladera de Mar Moutain overlooking the picturesque town of Nerja. The views from the upstairs sitting area are breathtaking.

The villa is well appointed in their traditional style along with an outside kitchen perfect for alfresco cooking and eating. The tradtional BBQ is also good fun to use.

The pool is of a good size the children made good use of it. The views again are splendid from this area across the mountain. There is also an outside WC handy when you are poolside.

However the drive upto the villa is not for those with a nervous dispostion or an inexperienced driver especially in the dark. There are several hairpin bends. Therefore if you were hoping to walk into town you will be unable to do.But once you are at the villa it is all worth it.

A truly idylic place for adults, families to have a relaxing holiday.

We Rented Villa Rosa, Situated On The Altos De Lad

We rented Villa Rosa, situated on the Altos de Ladera de Mar mountain, overlooking Nerja, booked via Cosmos.

The villa looked idyllic in the brochure, although it was poorly lit inside and slightly grimy, but we were prepared to put up with that.

However, it was infested with mice, which we didn't discover until 5 days into the holiday as they only came out late at night, running between the bedrooms and bathroom and under the kitchen sink.

I bought some rat poison in readiness for use but the final straw came when one of our party found a live mouse under the bed covers at 11.30 one night! We left the villa immediately and were lucky to find a local hotel (the excellent Marinas de Nerja) with rooms available for the second week of our holiday, although this cost me an extra £1,000 for the two rooms needed.

We are now suing tour operator. Cosmos have basically washed their hands of us and only offered £45 compensation!

Oh, the drive up the villa can be very hairy indeed if you are of nervous disposition and/or an inexperienced driver. Make sure your handbrake is working and you can take very sharp hairpin bends at an incline of 40 degrees in one turn in the pitch dark.
