I hope someone else finds this useful as this was literally a site that was not listed anywhere that I found by accident. Neuro Linguistic Programming is astonishing in so far as in self-help for me it very quickly worked. I really want to help other people and so I decided to look for formal study, the course fees are VERY expensive, the cheapest I found was £800 and it takes a lot of time. I think the intensive courses are the best value but I like to learn at my own pace so 5 manic days did not appeal to me. Then again neither did giving up every weekend for the next few months. I do have a life.

I started looking for home study and came across Infinity Academy,(www.infinityacademy.com) they offer a few home study courses and they even do the NLP Practitioner course! The program is on a DVD rom for your computer, you get tutor support who really help and they give you access to material on a members only website as well. I was a bit dubious, when the DVD Rom came through I was not sure what to expect.

They are accredited and while the course is cheap and cheerful, you really get value for money. There was a lot of material on the disc and it directed me to register with my course tutor. When I did that they then gave me access codes to a members only site where they gather a lot of material in one place. It would be nice if this was all their own material but I guess for the price, I am not going to complain!! What they do, is I guess what you would call "modelling" they utilise other examples that are out there on the web and then link it into how it is relevant to their own study material. It helps make sense of NLP by looking at the different way people explain it. Actually the more I think about it, the cleverer this approach is!

I highly recommend them. Save yourself a tonne of money and study at home in your own time. The practitioner manual is detailed and then with all the supporting material and the help from the trainers, it certainly covered of all the key NLP areas. The one thing I did struggle with was getting in all the practical aspects, this is the one thing that home study does not give you so you do need to be motivated to carry out all the exercises. I asked a friend of mine to help and she loved it and she has now started studying it as well so we have a little study group going. We've fed this back to the training team and they are even starting an online study group. I think that will be really nice to help if there is no one in your local area who wants to learn this. Though at this price, its nice to see NLP being made accessible to a lot more people.

The course is great value for money, its got eveything you need at a price that wont break the bank. They do some more advanced material and I hope to be sitting my practitioner exam online in the next month. After that then I think I will do the masters program with them.
