- ...Until Windows XP became mainstream. It's unfortunate that VBuster failed to catch up with Windows GUI.
- Whenever a file is being accessed, VB will pop-up a DOS box scanning the file. It may take a blink of eyes to finish scan and close, but when it pops up whilst you're typing a review, it blocks you with a question -- ABORT SCAN?
Overall I can't say anything about VB effectiveness since my computer rarely caught a virus. Only I'm disappointed with the program interface and its obtrusive real-time scanner. Therefore I can't recommend it. But if I had to use VB I'd have it installed on a file server, not on home PC.

Although the windows interface of the program is not as fully featured as other similar antivirus programs,lacking real time scanning of the computer.The antivirus program itself is highly effective,detecting many more viruses that other antiviruses miss.The program only costs a token amount of RM99.00(US26.00) giving it good value for money compared to other similar programs.Although it is not perfect,it is still a good program to use.Dont take my word at face value though,test it along with a few other antiviruses,you might be suprised how many you missed.
