“Avoid ”

Recieved car chair from this company, after a week it became faulty with the button not allowing the straps the loosen. Had a right nightmare with customer service to get this company to arrange for it to be collected and returned for a refund. After waiting two weeks for this to be resolved I ended up reporting this company to trading standards which then they gave me a full refund. Would AVOID this company and shop else where. Disgusting customer service.

Don't buy from Pramworld! They sold me an item they didn't have in stock and send me a different item which I now have the hassle of returning! Just before a heatwave-it reached 34 degrees!-I decided to buy a cool pram liner and cool summer canopy for my bugaboo chameleon. I checked with Pramworld to ensure it was in stock-They said it was-and ordered the items. The canopy they sent me was for the wrong pram. I called them and they said they'd check the warehouse to see if the one I wanted was available, and call me back. They never called back. I emailed and they told me my item was not in stock. Why did they tell me it was in stock? Now I'm left with no summer canopy for my pram (in this heatwave!!) and I have the hassle of returning the wrong product they sent me. I'm livid. I said they should offer me compensation for their error and the inconvenience this has caused and they said 'they don't offer compensation but will refund the incorrect item'. I should hope so!

Winstanleys Pramworld 1 review Published 4 minutes ago If I could give zero stars I would If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a car seat costing 370 pounds which they delivered damaged and with the address of a different customer on it from previous delivery. The car seat was also not packed correctly missing nearly all the polystyrene was missing. I complained and the company said the damage was negligible. I asked for a collection and refund for my goods. And got 3 weeks they have said every day the delivery man is coming to collect the item but they never turn up. I'm constantly emailing and calling but no one picks up the phone. They say they can't give me a refund until they collect and they also say they are not responsible for the courier to collect even though they never turn up. They are a disgrace. Never deal with them

I ordered an item but it didn't arrive on time. On contacting Winstanley's I was immediately transferred to customer service who were incredibly helpful. The error was rectified immediately and my order was delivered within 24 hours. would definitely recommend this company without hesitation.

“Disorganised! Failed to deliver requested product”

I ordered a Hauck baby car seat choosing Pramworld as they were the cheapest. The car seat that arrived was made by Hauck but was a completely different model to the one I ordered, with a completely different fitting. I queried this and I was told that a replacement was being sent out (couldn't deliver on a week though!) I called to chase at 4pm on Monday to be told the seat I had was definitely correct and to double check. Checked - still wrong seat. Emailed on Tuesday and waited all day with no response. Called at 4pm to be told that they don't know why but the car seat they claim to sell is in fact a different model altogether and they can't source the one advertised on their website. Pretty poor all round and wasted almost a week to be told this!

“Worst I.T. in the U.K.”

To order anything online you have to become a member. When you become a member in the privacy section it states that you agree to be sent promotional material via any method and to receive market research calls/messages by any method. There is NO opt out section. When you place an order to be delivered to a different address from the bill payer, As you would to purchase a gift for someone. The system automatically changes both address to the receiving address so the bill payers address then does not match what is recorded on your credit card and the card is rejected. MORE IMPORTANTLY, when you telephone them, the telephone system automatically cuts you off if the staff are busy with something else. The line connects and you hear the 4 choices on the automated system. Once you select one of those choices the line goes dead. It took me 14 calls to get through. ALL at my expense. This is a deliberate act and burdens the customer with additional expense. I shall be reporting this to OFCOM. When I eventually did make an order I was sent a text message from the delivery company stating they were delivering the following day but to the wrong address. You try to ring them again and keep getting cut off again. So the cycle and expense continues. IT HAS TOOK ME 2 DAYS TO MAKE A PURCHASE. On the positive side, the staff I did manage to speak to were polite and without the help of one of them I would have not been able to make an order. Basically the staff are great but everything else is not fit for purpose. I will DEFINATELY NOT be using this company again. It is too stressful, time consuming and expensive. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I.T. hang your heads in shame.

“Worst service ever! ”

Ordered several products from this company. They took the money within minutes but no products arrived.had to chase them 3 times before they arrived. Phoned and emailed as there are parts missing so can't even use the products that o purchased for my little one who is due any day! Called and apparently an hour on hold of being told That my call was important and still no answer! When do I get the parts for my items?!!!!

I bought a venicci 3 in 1 travel system and didnt open the boxes as my baby is premature and would be in hospital for 3 months. Now he is about to be discharged we opened the boxes to assemble the pushchair only to find out the carseat is missing.... i am soo upset !!!

Really pleased with the service here - ordered an item at a very good price, but when it arrived - on time and in good condition - it wasn't quite what I expected. Customer services have worked really hard to get this resolved and been in touch with the manufacturer to fetch me a missing part - all delivered to me free of charge. They've also updated their website description so no one else misinterprets as I did! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and everyone I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in using this site again - particularly given the prices I've seen there seem to be really good!

“How long would you expect a £250 car seat to last”

How long would you expect a £250 car seat to last if it's designed for 6mths to aprox 4 years old? The law says if it fails due to a manufacturing fault they are liable to either replace, repair or partially refund me for up to 6 years after purchase, if you can reasonably expect it to last that long. Pramworld will not repair at their cost a fault with the buckle on our BeSafe Izi Combi (purchased Nov 2010 when my son was 1 year old), as per the Sale of Goods Act and Limitation Act 1980. I have had the car seat for just under 3 years. I paid £249. The seat is designed for children 6mths to 4 yrs and I bought it while pregnant with my second child, expecting it to last long enough to be used for both my children until the age of 4 or 18kg. It hasn't. 1st October, the plastic casing around the buckle catch fell apart in my hand as I tried to take my son out of the seat. Thankfully we had just arrived home, and with the help of a neighbour we were able to help him wriggle out. Pramworld are asserting that the buckle has broken due to wear and tear, not due to a manufacturing fault, and that they therefore have no obligation to pay for repair and carriage. Despite having double checked with the CAB and my attempts to explain their breech of contract (because the seat has not lasted a reasonable amount of time due to a fault) they keep repeating they have no obligations to repair at their cost because it is "out of warranty".

when a car seats bought,it' presumed it's for one child not your 2nd ,3rd or 4th in my opinion i would say you have had your monies worth seeing these kids are in and out of the up to 6 or 7 times a day, i dont blame pramworld for not fixing it for free,people like you are always after a free ride

Terrible service They send us a faulty pushchair and because we test it- in order to find out if the quality meet the expectation They refused to refund it despite that they admit there is something g wrong with it! They just call it the nature of the product! Rude custom service Avoid if you can

“Appalling!”

I have just had an atrocious experience with winstanleys and would really recommend people shop else where. I ordered a push chair (top of the range maclaren) and when it arrived the zip was broke on the footmuff. I contacted them straight away and they said they will order a new part in and send it out. Weeks have gone by with me repeatedly chasing them with failed promises of in stock "tomorrow" and I am still without the footmuff. Yesterday they gave me an allocated time slot (which we altered our plans to ensure we would be in) however it's claimed that we refused the parcel. I received a very abrupt email stating please could I ensure everybody in the house is aware a parcel is been delivered tomorrow. We have been giving the ever so convienent delivery slot of any time today...after already staying in yesterday! I really wished I had gone to a high street shop, where I could have just taken it straight back if I realised it was faulty at home! Please don't make the same mistake as me!

think your a bit dramatic,they was out of stock,when the footmuffs came instock they sent the goods,deliveries are down to the delivery company not the store ,and looking at the date ,was in June when the weather was hot ,so i'm sure not having a footmuff didnt effect your life that much,some people just love to moan, i have found this companies service Grade A on many occasions

I hadn't come across Pramworld before but found they were the most competitive for the car seat I wished to purchase. The online ordering process was simple and I really liked the update emails and texts I received regarding the delivery of my product as it made the service much more personal. My purchase arrived within the allotted delivery slot and I have been very impressed by my first experience of the company. I took the time to email them to thank them for such good service and got a reply from one of the Director's in which he said he would ensure my thanks was passed onto his entire team. I really like this kind of leadership and ethos in a company and will both happily recommend them to friends and family and shop with them again in the future.
