Superb Picture Quality
When i first saw the picture quality of the Sony Bravia i was surprised with it. The video quality is really very natural its so better that i could enjoy the each and every scene. Then I decided to buy only this Tv. This Tv is with me since last 3 month and i still no issue with any part of this Tv. The best thing which i like is to watch is the 3D movies. its really work very well and i can really experienced the 3D quality movie in my home.

Bought This Tv After Narrowing It Down Between Pa
Bought this TV after narrowing it down between Panasonic or Sony. When M&S had it on special offer £532 with 5 years warranty (for 1 day only) I snapped it up. Its a brilliant TV , colours and clarity are amazing. There are none of the 'cones' mentioned by other owners. The web content is ..mundane! except for the BBC iPlayer, and the Channel 5 equivalent.
The only drawback is the USB port, which really is only for playing back photos, Sony could have done better with it, and made it suitable to play back avi Divx etc.
Thoroughly recommend this set to anyone.

I Bought This For £800 At Best Buy In Merry
I bought this for £800 at best buy in merry hill Dudley. I can't see any cones the previous reviewer mentioned but for me this is the best tv I've ever owned and I've several. The picture is incredibly sharp and contrasty. The colours are very realistic and are not oversaturated like on a lot of current samsungs. Motion is very smooth and realistic. The Internet content isn't great and the web apps aren't worth paying the extra for. It is a beautiful set and looks so discrete. The dlna streaming isn't brilliant due to the lack of good codecs. Personally I wouldn't pay extra just to get the network capability and save the money to buy something like a ps3 or network enabled Sony bluray instead. Not too sure how it does it but it seems to make moving objects really smooth. Possibly the bravia engine I suppose. Hence fast moving sports, video games and DVDs look astounding.

I Purchased This Tv From The Sony Centre After Spe
I purchased this TV from the Sony centre after spending many hours staring at LCD's LED's and Plasmas. Once home and switched on for the first time I noticed a large black cone at the left, right and top of the screen. The cones were in such a position that it ruined nearly all types of viewing. Not being happy with spending £1300 on a LED television and finding it unviewable and packaged it back up and toke it back to the Sony store the next day. During this down time I decided to do some research and found hundreds of reports from other NX703 owners that they had the exact same issue of which many of them had returned their sets. Once back in the sony centre and going through the refund procedure (which Sony was very unhappy to do) I walked around the store and found that all their edge lit LED TVs had the same issue. I pointed this out to the sales rep who refused to acknowledge their existence.
In summary, from my research it appears all Sony edge lit LED TV's have a severe fault with the screen which Sony are refusing to accept. Secondly I could not believe the hoops I had to jump through (even threatening legal action) to get a refund for a tele I had owned for about 30 minutes that was basically dead on arrival in my eyes.
This has put me off all Sony TV's for the time being and also off of Edge lit LED TVS forever, I will look again once they are Back light and not side light.
Is cone a technical term? i have one of these tv's and its brilliant.
I found this review very helpful because...I was about to purchase this model from the Sony Centre as I have used this Franchised Company before After reading the problems and the company negative reaction to the customers issues. I think I will take my business to a customer friendly department store John Lewis and ask the help and advice in making my decision on what not to buy or some impartial advice. DA
