This has been my worst wedding dress experience so far - and by far. I booked an appointment online, and when I arrived I was chastised for not answering my phone 20 minutes before, whilst driving. The 'responsable' wore a splendid frown, and left me with the catalogues, even though I already had a list of dresses gathered from online. When she returned (they were relatively busy and she had to multi-task) she seemed pleased that I had eliminated a few from my list. She then deleted a few more as they 'had never existed' as real dresses. So - by the time I made it to the dressing room I only had 6 on my list for an appointment of 2 hours, from a range of 200 or more! Another one was missed as it was still at the dry-cleaners....and no-one had fetched it. The assistant became friendlier as time wore on, but I was really bemused by that point!
I felt that the shop was understaffed, overstretched - and this was midweek. No suggestions were made for alternative dresses. I was happy to leave!
The shop was not for me - but it must be said that the lady helping me to try on dresses was very good at summarising what worked for me,and what did not. They have some beautifully detailed, full dresses - but relatively few that concentrate on form rather than fabric.
