Spirulin Cream

I was introduced to this cream by some friends from overseas. I have always been a complete "goo" addict and on the lookout for new products to try.

Spirulin Cream contains spirulina extract, a blue green algae, known for its many health benefits. Most research on spirulina has focused on taking spirulina as a dietary supplement for overall skin health, so i was a bit skeptical about using it in a skin cream.

The cream is non-oily, and smooth in texture, with a pleasant natural smell. It claims to be nourishing and hydrating and I found both of those claims to be true. I use it as a night cream after applying my vitamin A skin cream, to provide hydration. It sinks in nicely to the skin. The cream is also amazing value for money, compared to other creams containing spirulina extract.
