Ordered the BBQ, delivered. Found another site selling it for 30% less in a few days' time, was selling it for even less around the time of my order. They claim 'the best price online guaranteed' which is a blatant lie. They refused to price match, and when I discussed returning, they refused return in person and asked for return by parcel. Will never shop with them again. If you find anything on Wowbbq website, look around - you are likely to find it cheaper elsewhere.

I ordered two ideas from the wowbbq website, ready for the Christmas holidays. The website stated : Free Delivery - In Stock - Same Working Day Dispatch I was waiting for my items to arrive by post, when I received an email to say they were out of stock!! What I also found very frustrating is that full payment had been withdrawn from my Bank account! I sent an email to customer services on the 3rd of December with no response. I have now sent another chaser email and will see if I every get a response. Buy from this website at your own risk, but I would stay well clear.

The rotisserie was advertised at suitable for all Weber Genesis bbqs. It was not. They have now changed their website description for this item!! We had to pay to send it back as they wouldn't as they said it would cost them more to organize it. They refused to accept returned item from the courier. Eventually they did but we had great difficulty getting our carriage refunded. We had to threaten legal action in the end before our carriage was refunded. Would never deal with this company again.

I guess these guys are OK as long as your item arrives undamaged...I ordered a chimney starter and coals with Next Day Delivery as a premium. The items were slung in a box ad low and behold the chimney starter arrived with a sharp dink in the metal. As I pulled the coals out I scratched my arm on it. I took photos of the dent item and sent them and a request for a refund. I was told as the item was still usable as a chimney starter I had "options"...£5 refund...£10 voucher or replacement in days.....I pointed out I was going on holiday hence the next day delivery and the item was likely to rip my luggage as well as my arm and I wanted a full refund or another item in the post same day for next day delivery, neither of which was offered as one of the "Options" When I buy a NEW item, I want it to be as new not in damaged condition but usable. I certainly expect to have my rights to a full refund upheld by the vendor and not to be offered and arrange of unsatisfactory "Options"

I had friends round on Saturday for a BBQ, but unfortunately when they arrived, I wasn't in possession of a BBQ! If you are looking for delivery of your purchase soon(ish) then I would look elsewhere. WOWBBQ were recommended to me by a friend who has purchased from WOWBBQ frequently. I ordered a Weber BBQ with multiple accessories on a Thursday morning with plans to have it set-up and be cooking on my new BBQ for our guests on the Saturday. The website said 'same day dispatch' and advertised how soon I could receive delivery. At the order page I was presented with multiple options to commit to. Next working day delivery, Saturday morning delivery etc, with costs to match. I selected next working day delivery in order to receive my goods on the Friday. The order was processed and I received a confirmation email stating that the goods would be delivered on the Friday (the next day). The website was good, the order process smooth and I was very impressed by the whole experience to this point. That Thursday evening I received a message from the courier company stating that delivery would be on Monday - two days after my planned gathering. This wouldn't suit so I reserved a same spec BBQ at a local store and called the customer service line first thing on the Saturday morning. The Gent who answered was helpful and said that the goods had been dispatched from WOWBBQ on the day of the order, but there seemed to be a problem with the courier. The order was split into three packages and one was due to be delivered on the Friday, but the other two on the Monday. The customer service rep then contacted the courier and called me back to say he had upgraded the delivery so that all goods would arrive on Saturday morning between 7am and 1pm. I told the gent that I had a same spec Weber BBQ reserved at a local store, but I was assured my packages would arrive by 1pm on the Saturday. I foolishly cancelled the reserved BBQ. Saturday morning came and went. My guests arrived. My BBQ didn't. I called WOWBBQ and was informed that they couldn't contact the courier so there was nothing they could do. By this time it was late Saturday afternoon and I had guests round for a BBQ that I couldn't actually hold. To say we were all disappointed would be an understatement. I requested a refund from WOWBBQ and informed them that i would refuse to accept the goods. I'm not the kind to reward a company with business after being let down. I'd rather pay more for better service. The courier arrived early on the Monday morning (which happens to be today) and the goods were not accepted. Now to hope that the refund goes through with minimal hassle, or there may be another review on here in the near future. The long and the short of it is that if you are looking for a BBQ to use at some point in the future then you could do far worse. This may be an isolated incident. If you are looking for something for a specific date or you are holding a BBQ sometime in the near future, ensure you have a large indoor oven or contact details of a pizza delivery company as a contingency - or shop somewhere else.

This company might be OK if you are sure the product you want is actually in stock (although how you do that online is beyond me given my experience) However your money is taken even though the company is not in a position to deliver the product. In my case the £100+ was taken from my account on ordering on 5/12 without any mention of it not being in stock. I then had to chase the company to be told that supplies were coming in on 19/12. The only guarantee they would give me was that if the supplier delivered we would get the product next day. As this was a Christmas gift this was not good and neither was the fact that the company had my money for 14 days without being able to deliver. I did get delivery yesterday but I would have been left in a real mess if the supplier had let them down. Not the way to do business in my opinion

Happily accepted a charcoal order from me for a product they are unable to provide (why oh why do companies do this!?). Weren't prepared to supply the same product in smaller bags which they had in stock to make up the same quantity for the same price despite the fact that I could place a new order on their website for smaller bags to the same value. I found them to be arrogant and that they had a don't care attitude when I advised that I would never be a customer again. Frustrating and best avoided.

Ordered a webber bbq cover as it was stated as in stock. Ordered some bits and pieces too Stuff I don't really need. All delivered except the webber BBQ cover. Out of stock and on Back order. Feel coned as I could have ordered it on many other sites that had it in stock. Now have to wait (no idea how long) as the money has been paid. My BBQ is outside getting wet Not great if you ask me. Don't say it is in stock when you know it isn't.

Good selection of stock and well priced, but terrible customer service. I placed an order for a 13kg patio gas bottle on Sunday via the web page and received a call on Wednesday that they wouldn't be able to fulfil the order as they only supplied gas with new BBQ's, which is all well and good, but why did I have to wait until Wednesday to be told this? Surely in this day and age the web site should have not allowed me to do this, but as I was told on the phone it is "not that sophisticated". Unfortunately, due to the positive reasons mentioned above I may still order again in the future.

Some of my order appeared, but only a handwritten note in the box alerted me to the fact that the wood chunks I'd order would arrive later. Weeks and weeks later, no further correspondence from the retailer, no refund, and no wood chunks.

I recently bought 3 items from WOW, with work commitments I paid for a special next day AM slot. Unfortunately the day before I was due to get them delivered I was called to say 1 item was out of stock (despite saying it was in stock on the website) but was coming in that day so could dispatch once available (due to work commitments new delivery was a week later) - all little frustrating but OK. Then the day before delivery again get a call to say item was not only still not in stock but not likely to be for another 2 months due to supplier issues! All the while website still says in stock... So ended up having to fork out a fortune from another company to get the item to me on time! I would have been more forgiving if WOW were just upfront with me as they must have known the items were such a long way off so why tell me they could still meet my order?! They are only getting 1 star because they did at least refund me the item they couldn't supply...

I was advised a delivery of 23/5 it did not arrive - no calls just a text to say between 18:00 and 19:00 no call but on checking today by internet see the driver cannot find my home DD10 9LD is the postcode and gets deliveries 3/4 time a week. Why don't you keep the parcel and credit my mastercard if this is the best you can do -- I can get the same parts from a local supplier (Dobies Garden Centre) George Sangster
