They take orders and payment for stock they do not have give you a delivery date which they cancel after a few days and tell you it will take 14/16 weeks to be delivered

Do not use apartnly they have gone bust table we got delivered at Christmas 2017 terrible surface missing sealant bare wood visible! Emails phone calls never returned and now unable to contact!

“Item not delivered”

Ordered item beginning of January. Constantly chased them for an update on delivery, to receive an email saying they have gone into administration. They must have known this at the time of sale. Unable to contact them by phone and their email address is a no reply. Anyone else having a problem? Any advise? Unable to give a 1 star rating.

Were dishonest on delivery dates, promise the world and fail every time. Will not enter into honest discussion and have failed to refund money so far even though I have waited their ten working day rules. Will never go to these people again. Avoid at all costs. I will get my money at some time I hope. Please keep away fromthem

“faulty chairs”

I ordered a table and chair set which matched my kitchen colour so was so happy for a great match but it arrived and chairs were all scratches on the grey paint work and seats pads didn't fit as screws couldn't catch the hole so got them replaced after about 20 pictures that I sent . Oh then again two weeks later came another lot of chairs which were even more damaged so again which I thought 3rd time lucky but no so iam still trying to solve the issue which I have sent in over 40 pictures now waiting on them to come and take back and give me my cash back.I thought I was buying Uk furniture but found out the chairs come from CHINA

“Very Poor After Sales Service ”

I recently purchased some oak furniture including a triple wardrobe. The assembly instructions for this item were very poor so we phoned Customer Service to be told the base on the wardrobe would need to be screwed into the base (no pre holes provided) but the instructions showed a base panel which we didn't receive. Still unclear from the drawings I phoned Customer Service back on Saturday and spoke to a team member who was unable to provide me with any guidance. She was the only member of staff available and send she would leave a message for the Manager to ring me back. No phone call was received, I phoned the Manager AGAIN on Tuesday morning and was told she would ring me by end of the day! Such awful after sales service with no clear assembly guidance provided added to the fact that the Manager doesn't seem to want to talk to me. I won't be using this company again.

“No quibble?”

Ordered a sideboard which arrived and was too big but was also damaged. I contacted them via email and was asked to fill in an online form and provide photos showing the damage. I did this only to receive a further email asking for more photos so I re-sent my original pictures. I then received yet another email asking for me to send clearer photos. I had had enough by this time and stated that they claim '30 day no quibble guarantee' and that them expecting me to go backwards and forwards with emails wasn't 'no quibble' Following that I got an email arranging for a collection which happened within a week. I was expecting to have to make several calls chasing my refund after reading reviews on here but the money has already been refunded to us. Had the item not been too big & damaged it was a lovely piece of furniture and I would have re-ordered a smaller version of it but the initial farce with emails put me off.

“False advertising, terrible service”

Product advertised as 'high grade oak'. What actually arrived was plywood + veneer. Company denying me my statutory rights when trying to resolve the matter. Read reviews on moneysavingexpert before you hand over any money to these guys. Please will anyone else who feels tricked contact the Advertising Standards Agency, plus police Action Fraud.

“Good quality unit but with design flaw”

We bought a television table for our wide-screen TV. The unit arrived in very quick time and we were pleased with the overall quality. However, the unit has four drawers which were advertised as suitable for the storage of DVDs etc. In fact the depth of each drawer is fractionally too small (literally 2-3mm) to allow DVDs or CDs to be stored spine upright - so that you can read the contents of the latter. Did not the original designer actually take the size of a DVD case into account? This stupid mistake spoils what would be otherwise a 5 star product.

Product information was explaining that the materials were from sustainable materials, Phoned on delivery day to say they would be here at a precise time!! Fantastic I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company . In fact I will be looking to order bedroom furniture.

“NOT solid oak”

Purchased a Hereford Oak bookcase from Oakfurnituresolutions, product description describes it as being solid oak, which is what we were after as all of our existing furniture is solid oak. However on taking delivery (from a very inflexible delivery company) we discovered that a lot of the bookcase is in fact cheap veneer! The shelves and side panels appear to be some sort of mdf/hdf with an oak veneer. Not impressed. I emailed the company and received an abrupt reply stating that the website says it's not solid oak, that's a blatant lie which I pointed out, they now aren't replying to my emails. We have always bought from Oakfurnitureland who do actual solid oak furniture, the only reason we didn't buy from them on this occasion is we needed a specific sized bookcase to fill a gap. Lesson learned. Avoid these tricksters.

I ordered a wardrobe which stated required some assembly: It required full assembly There were no instructions The handles were missing The dowels didn't fit The preassembled furniture was great but customer service left a lot to be desired when trying to remedy the problems outlined above.

“Poor after service”

Bought 1700 pounds worth one item being country dresser cream painted back in Oct 2015 since feb I have had Homeserve out three times Cracks appearing all over and a plastic dow over acrew joints was told had to clear wax althou this was not offered at time of sale only wax for oak parts since end off 2015 they introduced this clear wax. Last repair guy came and reported heard nothink I have made all the phone calls and send photos many many times with joint cracked issues. Finally they say adter 30 days in the home only can repair but my arguement is what if faulty what if it cracks again I have taken the 5 year cover do I have to keep calling when a crack appears every time no mention of clear wax given I have to purchase . Man I was passed to said a repair is all they would offer so let him know what I wanted to do . So after speaking to my husband we decided to have the repair but first I wanted some more answers this guy did not reply to my enquire to speak to him. No one higher woukd speak man on phone kept putting me on hold to go speak to supervisor (problably) standing behind him who would not speak toe he Came back said ( Are you takening the repair or what ) nice customer service . Have alot of this stores furniture in my home with no problems up till now. We will never buy again from them due to their customer service being bad they dont care they Just want your money.

“Damaged furniture”

I bought a table a couple of years ago waited excitedly for the delivery but when it came two of the legs were badly damaged (not just chipped) on the corners. I then waited again for it to be collected then weeks for the replacement. I was gutted. I wanted a television cabinet so gave the company the benefit of the doubt as they had exactly what I was looking for but again unfortunately the unit is again damaged, it's my own fault for using them again, fool me once and all that. Used twice, let down both times, that's 100% fail. Please do believe the poor reviews as you might get lucky and have a good experience but the percentage of damaged goods people have had is quite high so in all probability you could be affected too.

“FEELING DISAPPOINTED AND RIPPED OFF”

We were impressed by the staff in the Kidderminster showroom. We ordered a unit and paid in full (almost £500)on January 9th. Then it went wrong. * they told us the unit was made to order. Inside the drawer was a quality assurance slip dated 6.2.16 but delivery was April! * at the beginning of April, the wrong unit was delivered. The lady in Customer services who promised to sort out the exchange and ring us straight back - has yet to do so. *we eventually received our unit on 13.4,16 .BUT: *OFS called our range Belgravia but the range was called Halifax on the box and the company was NovaSolo. I was so upset to discover that ordering directly through them the unit would have cost £364.99 instead of £481.23 AND it would be delivered in 7-10 DAYS!!! Today the unit is on sale with OFS at £506.56. I want another piece in the same range. NovaSolo are over £100 CHEAPER AGAIN AND DELIVERY IS 3 DAYS .It's obvious what I am going to do I cannot understand how Oak FURNITURE Solutions can justify such a massive mark-up on the prices. You now know what to do if you don't want to be ripped off like me.

“I'm happy - don't trust all the bad reviews!”

I saw so many bad reviews about this company, that I nearly didn't buy the furniture. However I really liked the oak set I'd seen, and it was on sale, so I decided to take the plunge. On the whole I'm happy with my purchase. It is good value for money, looks lovely in my small sitting room and was delivered quickly and conveniently. Only gripe is that the side unit is slightly darker than the bookcase and TV unit. And two of the handles are wobbly, so I'm going to ask for two replacements. But these are minor things - I'd recommend this company.

Avoid this company, if there is any problems they don't want to know, so you have to spend hours on the phone, waiting in a queue, and told lies when you eventually do get through and have to go through the same process again and again. Spent 700pounds on a dining set, delivery made without seat pads for the chairs and damage to table pedestal.

“Avoid! Item arrived damaged and company refused to replace”

Absolutely avoid these guys. My dining room table arrived on time however I didn't open it for 3 weeks due to decorating my house, however when I unpacked the table I noticed some damage on the corner which clearly occured during either transit or when the table was packed, however their customer service team refused to replace it due to not reporting the fault within 7 days. I will never use these guys again.
