I purchased the Savannah fabric sofa bed on the 6th of February and paid additional fee to receive this the next day. It was delivered promptly, which I was pleased about. The sofa arrived without the two side parts: the sofa has no arms and the metal connectors are visible, which makes the sofa unusable. I telephoned Very’s customer service as soon as I unpacked to sofa hoping for a resolution. I was told that as they have no parts available and that I would need to send the item back and await for a refund which takes up to 14 days. I don’t want to go through the return of the sofa, then having to wait for my money (up to 14 days) until I have enough funds to order another sofa, which then I will have to unpack and set up again, on my own, as a single person. It is not my problem that the sofa was sent with missing parts. Therefore, I should not be the one suffering for it. Very should be making arrangements as this has been a cause of major stress already. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should be corrected and the customer should not be losing out when it is the company’s fault. It is quite disgusting that they are not bending backwards to actually get the parts to me as they have sent a completely unusable item. I will be posting this review everywhere and will look into escalating this matter further.

I bought a garden set, £700, it collapsed 3 months later, very refused to repair or replace, I got an independent review still they refused, I involved the ombudsman he agreed with me and the joiners report, item is faulty, still they refused, so now it is going to a higher ombudsman to make a decision, if still no , I will take them to the small claims court, Never ever buy anything from these people, they really are disgusting

Was promised 10 avios points per pound spent as a new customer, received 1 avios point per pound. We all need to make a living, but this was a waste of time and, worse, wrong and disrespectful.

Terrible experience with Very. Ordered an item which apparently got delivered to me 2 weeks ago, I constantly tried to explain I never received it and they decided to start an investigation. Well, to our surprise item magically appeared in their warehouse. There was NO delivery attempts. They said they can not arrange to send the item back out to me and they will refund the money after 5 days. Also i have been advised that i have to repurchase the item which is now out of stock. When i asked to talk to a manager, the advisor said no manager is available. Utterly disgusted!!

I ordered a pair of women's trainers in the black Friday sale. Today the order arrived containing a pair of men's loafers. Information on the website instructed me to return the incorrect item and reorder the trainers. When I did this I discovered they are now priced at £90 instead of the £63 I paid for them. I have tried to call the customer service number three times but each time have been cut off before speaking to a human being. There appears to be no way of emailing. Very unimpressed. Edit - Very have now responded saying they will honour the original price but I have to re-order the trainers at the full price and then they will issue a refund. Edit - Second pair of trainers have arrived, they have not honoured the refund promised. I will never order from them again.

0 stars!! I received an email on the 18th October stating my parcel had been delivered and was ready to collect. I then received another message on the 20th October reminding that my parcel was ready to collect. I went to collect my item on the 21st October and was told by a worker at the Texaco garage that my parcel was not there and it had not been delivered. After spending 40 minutes in the Texaco garage and then 1 hour on a Web chat with yodel and then another hour on the phone with Very I was told my parcel had been delivered and it had been signed for by a employee of the garage on the morning of the 18th at 9:21 and that the package was not with Yodel. I was advised to wait 2 days to see if my parcel would arrive even though all claimed they did not have my parcel. After spending half of my only day off chasing a watch I had brought a week in advance because it was a gift, I was still without a present, less petrol and less time and empty handed and embarrassed. I then received an email on 22nd October, 1 from very and 1 from yodel stating that my parcel had now been delivered to the garage and was ready to collect. The code given was the exact same code emailed to me on 18th October. Yodel nor Very have even given me an explanation as to why my parcel was not at the Texaco garage when I went to collect on the 21st even though i received 2 messages stating it had been delivered and may be collected, along with no explanation as to why if it had been delivered on the 18th like I was told, was it only delivered on the 22nd October. The customer service throughout was disgusting..the Texaco employee was rude and uninterested..Yodel only offer a Web chat and both yodel employees I spoke with offered no help other than to advise that my parcel had been delivered and to wait so they can speak with the depot team in 48 hours (I kept a screen shot of the whole chat), Very did give more information..that my parcel had been delivered and singed for providing me with a time and name however, they could only advise to wait 2 days as the parcel may still arrive (remember according to Very & Yodel its already been delivered). As a customer, the lack of customer service provided to me was shocking! There was no empathy, long waiting times, having to repeat myself when passed to a new employee, Yodels ridiculous live Web chat, no acknowledgement as to the inconvenience this all caused me not to mention the embarrassment of not having the present I had promised. Although I was assured that I would receive a telephone call, no one from either company (Very & Yodel) have called me back as promised. I will not be purchasing anything from Very that involves Yodel ever again and my loyalty as a Very customer is now in question!!!

The new advert promotes bullying! Because a child wears something different to another child it doesn’t mean they should be pushed from the back seat of a bus!!! What an absolute joke whatever idiot thought it would be a good idea to even broadcast it never mind create it should be punished! Bullying is unacceptable!!!

My thought exactly! This idiotic advert promotes bullying. How can we expect our kids to behave appropriately, if the adults can even get it right?
Whatever ignorant buffoon (probably still in nappies) created this car crash of an advert, is obviously more interested in how cool he perceives it to be, rather than the message it screams (bullying is ok!) What has happened to the regulation of TV adverts and does anyone even care anymore?

Try to purchase an Item for a couple of days. make my account on very and buy an item. I have paid the total amount and received no confirmation from them, that I have ordered my Item. when I check on their website my order has been declined for no reason. Try to call customer service and their excuse was your credit check didn't go through. what the hell is that excuse for and if someone paying a total amount to purchase D3500 Nikon which is £543 why the hell they are putting the customer through checks. Ridiculous service, not the first time they have done. Highly recommended DO NOT BUY FROM THERE.

Faulty iPad purchased 18m ago so out of very warranty took to Apple store they advised faulty but very want me to pay for an independent report before I can return it and if they do refund they are knocking 20% off. Shocking customer service also. Lesson learnt not to use very ever again!!

Don’t use this company, there are plenty of other good companies who don’t treat their customers terribly that sell the same items. They put on a front of wanting to help but if you actually manage to get through to someone, they ultimately don’t care. Avoid.

Got a LG TV delivered to me purchased from very.. the TV was broken, cracked screen. I gave them a call to ask for a exchange, the lady was helpful and mentioned she will gladly exchange it. And I would receive it today.. Today I give them a call to check what's happening and they don't know what's going on, they said my account has been canceled because of a review. I don't understand, the lady helped me yesterday, today the person was unhelpful and did not know what was happening.. i still have the broken TV which will be collected tomorrow but I guess I will not get a exchange because they canceled my account

AVOID AVOID AVOID. After receiving a voucher of £35 off my first credit order I registered and placed and order for 2 x AirPods Pro. The order arrived in open box and then after waiting 2 hours to speak to customer service they discounted the item so I decided to keep. But this was just the start of many issues with very. The second order I returned. The wrong invoice amounts on my account and after approx 6 calls I am no near ri getting this resolved. The return that went missing has now been located but still not reflected on my account. The quality of the customer service is ridiculously low and unvelivable. A very poor option when you call the customer service and takes hours to get to speak to someone that understands. Not worth the headache or stress so avoid at any cost

I have been an account holder of very for over 5 years and have spent a lot of money during this time. I have never been in arrears & always made payments on time. I received a letter recently to advise that my account is closing on 26th March without any explanation. I called the customer service team to be told that because I haven’t made an order in 6 months that they are closing the account!!!! I won’t be able to open another one for a year and I won’t even be able to make a card payment for 2 weeks. Please enlighten me how this is treating customers fairly very? I have never known a company to punish you for not giving them money, this is disgusting. Especially during a national pandemic where people haven’t had a lot of money or been extremely ill so maybe shopping wasn’t a priority during this time. I certainly don’t recommend shopping with very as they have no loyalty.

Paid for item on the 28/11/2021 item arrived it was a Xmas gift so when opened realised it wasn’t as described so that really made me cross! Then on the 5-1-2022 I returned the item got charged for return to, they got the item back on the 7-1-2022 it states refund within 3 working days of being delivered back!! It’s now the 16-1-2022 still NO refund!! Been chasing them up! Kept on hold for ages to get through to customer service there is no email address to complain to! It’s a disgusting company please take this advice and DO NOT buy from here! I’ve been out of pocket by over £180 since the 28-11-2021 I’m seriously going to be taking legal action now! As when you do get through to them they say oh no it’s 7 days you get a refund back we haven’t updated the site yet! I’ve prove of tracking that the item was returned on the 7-1-2022 well over 7 days! Watch this space now as I’m lucky I work within a solicitors company and I know the law and my rights and won’t cost me a thing to take legal action! This is a disgrace it really is! I’m goi g to give them till the end of closing day tomorrow the 17-1-2022 to have that money back in my account and call them one more time today 16-1-2022 to warn them then it’s legal action! AVOID this company

Awful customer service from very, waited over a week for them to collect broken mirrored furniture and it is still not resolved and i still don't have my refund. They had the cheek to tell me they don't want to put their removal men at risk collecting it, but they are fine leaving a dangerous product on my property for over a week with shards of glass the size of my hand on the floor

Returned items never get taken of your account or if payed for items no money back only if you keep chasing it up or ringing them. I always get from them thay are lost and need to be investigated. I have sent to pairs of boots back before Christmas and still not received my refund. This is very bad for this part of the returns

I ordered three toys from Very as they promised next day delivery. After ordering and paying in full for the three toys I was told the toys would not be available for 3 days. My grandchildren were home for a week and went home without their presents as very use Yodel, who promised delivery on Monday 13th December. I stayed in all day and they failed to deliver, with no explanation. I changed the order to deliver to local click and collect, as I thought it may arrive quicker,... it is now Friday the toys have not been delivered. If Very continue to use a delivery service who cannot cope with their deliveries, I will never buy from them again! The toys will be returned when they actually arrive , if ever and I will have a refund. How disappointing for my grandchildren who had been promised the toys they had requested. I wanted quick delivery as promised

Very poor customer service when it goes wrong, computer assistant particular useless, the customer service phone number shows a scam alert on my smart phone which does not inspire confidence. When I did eventually speak to customer service, which took a considerable effort to get through irrelevant menu options, I could hardly understand the customer service representative. They would not give me a email address so I could write to them. The complaints procedure ties you up in knots. I will not be buying from them again.

Very sent me a Tefal Blender when I ordered a Vtech activity desk. I returned the item the same day and 11 days later I am still awaiting a refund. I have now rang Very 3 times and an investigation is now being launched. All this should be done by Very after I have had an immediate refund. I have no goods as ordered, had to travel 9 miles to return the wrong item to Yodel Collect Plus and am left very disgruntled. I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again. Customer Service seems to be an exercise in fobbing off.
