Kenwood 243A/A

Just to say that this dishwasher is a waste of time. Many times it fails to actually clean the dishes. This means that we have to resort to handwashing these still solied items, which defeats the object of owning a dishwasher. Prior to this we had a whirlpool which was no trouble at all.

Bought a Kenwood 243a dishwasher at Curry's and the thermostat broke within 6 weeks of install. I got it repaired under manuf warranty - new thermostat - and, I stupidly assume a 12 month warranty on the actual repair... Manuf warranty has just expired and the same fault happens. Machine broken week before christmas!

Warranty on repair null and void as the machine is now (just over) 12 months old - my point with Kenwood and Curry's is that obviously there must be a fault with the machine to have the SAME fault twice within a year? There are only 3 people in our household so it's hardly abused!

If you call Kenwood they REFUSE point blank to help you! Customer Service is spectacularly rude - all they will say is that Curry's have a licence to sell Kenwood products so I need to deal with Curry's ???? And that is it - I kid you not - doesn't matter what you say to them they just LOUDLY repeat that over the top or you...So I assume my Kenwood dishwasher is actually a Curry's dishwasher with a Kenwood badge on it?? Imagine if Rolls Royce did that with a Skoda...and who would I call then - Ghostbusters??

Curry's customer service is no better (which I have reviewed separately) they just tell you they can't help you until you bring Consumer Rights into it and quote them chapter and verse.

Now buying Bosch - getting it delivered and installed in time for Christmas will full monty sealed in blood guarantee...

Kenwood broke down twice in a year - customer service SHOCKING - machine obviously faulty - Curry's useless! Curry's/Kenwood approved repairers useless!
