I purchased a set of hinges for my Cadillac Seville after assurances that ExotiCarDoors had a bolt on kit. The kit they sent me was not even close to fitting! I have read similar reviews of this "company" and it appears that they send the same kit of highs to everyone. Apparently they prefer overseas customers because of the difficulty of returning the incorrect hinges, but it seems they ignore everyone once they have ripped them off. I live in Latvia but intend to travel to the USA/canada and will attempt to trace the company through the police. The phone number traces to Canada so Iļl start there. Wish me luck!

I bought a set of hinges in October of 2010… It is now January of 2012 and I still have not received correct hinges. They sent me a kit that wasn’t even close to fitting my Mustang. After sending them back, (promptly on the 18th of October 2010) and more emails and telephone messages than I can count, To which I add that I never did actually talk to a customer service agent of any kind, I still have yet to receive my money back or a correct set of hinges… and it’s 2012 now… They stopped answering my Emails and the telephone number is useless.. I’ve tried to be patient with them and gave them a whole year to work it out which is more than generous on my part… I’ve been ripped off….. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY OR END UP LIKE ME…..RIPPED OFF…

I ordered a honda s2000 kit off these losers they sent me a universal kit, when i told them they had sent me the wrong one they denied it and advised that i have a proffessional look at it then when i told them it was the proffessional who had told me that it was the wrong one they stopped replying and aside from that it had a sticker saying universal on the side of the box that it arrived in, that had been put on AFTER the box had been sealed which wouldnt make much sense if it was in fact a model specific kit! Then when i had proved that they had stuffed up i still had to pay like $250 to get it shipped back to canada from australia and they tried to charge me a %35 restocking fee for theyre mistake and the only reason they gave me any money back is because paypal forced them to! I asked them multiple times to just exchange the universal kit for the honda s2000 kit but theyre lack of a response to these requests makes me think that maybe they only actually have universal kits and they just try and pass off the universal kit as model specific. STAY AWAY FROM WWW.EXOTICCARDOORS.COM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

This company is a rip-off. They boast over 70 degree door which is a lie. They advertise tru-bolt on but you have to drill your holes. There installation kit comes with a 4-6 page manual which covers nothing. When I took it to a shop to have them put it in. They said no-way this kit will do over 70 degrees. I then reported this to the company and sent it back, which cost me $180. So now I've spent $779 and didn't receive anything back from the company. Beware! They are liars and cheats.

Wish I had seen this before I ordered the kit for an RX8. Agree with comments above 100%. Definitely not a bolt on kit as advertised so it sits in a corner gathering dust and Emails remain unanswered even though before I purchased Q's were answered immediately.
