12th feb: ordered and paid for lens from lensplanet. 26th feb no news so chased them up - told delivery in 8-10 days 20th march no news so chased them up 21st march received identical email to last time - delsys but will ship 8-10 days 22nd march i asked to cancel and get my card refunded 2 months later: still no refund. I chase them once a week and get fobbed off with excuses about the refund being with accounts / delsy with accounts/ refund will be paid in 4-6 days etc etc. I have now reported the company to the police, action fraud and jersey trading standards

PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOWER AT ALL COSTS - THE SAVING IS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. I ordered some lenses on 24th November and by December 12th they hadn't been dispatched and the order was just showing on my account as 'verified'. I emailed the support email address (THERE IS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER AVAILABLE) and they emailed back to say that their "suppier is running short of these lenses and your order should ship out in the next 8-10 working days". Now, I have been ordering from this place for nearly 2 years without issues so I took this at face value and decided to wait for the original and order some different lenses, thinking that they would be dispatched quickly as they had been in the past. I couldn't have been more wrong. It's now 17th Jan and I haven't received the lenses I ordered on 24th November nor the ones I ordered on 13th December. Every email is met with "our supplier is still running short of these lenses". THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE - WHO WAITS 2 MONTHS FOR CONTACT LENSES?! I've asked them to cancel both orders and refund my money and I just hope this happens quickly. I would beseech you not to order from this company or any of the other websites that CONTACTFORLENS operates under - there is a list posted by another similarly aggrieved customer somewhere.

I should have stopped using Lensplanet the first time they didn't deliver my order until 6 weeks later. Stupidly went back to them last month. They took my money for contact lenses they didn't have in stock. Didn't tell me until I chased them weeks later. Told me I would be refunded within 3-5 working days, and I'm still waiting a month later. Avoid.

I ordered lenses from Lens Planet, when I was on my last bi-weekly lens and was about to travel home (to the US) for the holidays. This company was happy to take my money 3 weeks ahead of the shipment, then never sent the lenses, but didn't have the professional courtesy to tell me that they were out of the lenses and it would take over a month to receive, let alone ship them. I ended up having to have a new eye exam in the US ($80) as soon as I arrived for the holidays and ordering in the US, where I then waited another week to receive new lenses, as it was Christmas and the delivery was slow. Even now, 2 weeks after I was supposed to have received their lenses, Lens Planet have not refunded me my money. It's not worth the small discount they offer over their competitors to have this kind of experience.

The lenses did not arrive nor did the refund which was supposed to be in my account within 3 to 5 days. Complaints about this company’s failure to adhere to trading standards or ethical practices go back at least 8 years. They carry on their “dodgy” trading ignoring previous complaints to Jersey Trading Standards.

Twice failed to meet dispatch promise of 5-6 days, so order cancelled with no sign of lenses after 6 weeks. (Blamed suppliers but another firm delivered within 2 days). Twice failed to meet refund promises. Refund credited 2 months after payment taken ONLY AFTER INTERVENTION OF JERSEY TRADING STANDARDS

. They accepted my contact lens order but after a few days when I requested a delivery date I was advised that they were out of stock and they could not confirm a delivery date. I requested my order to be cancelled and my payment refunded over 17 days ago but despite several requests, I have not received the refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have ordered some acuvue Moist lenses two weeks ago, I still haven't received them. Emailed them a few days ago But no chance, and there is no telephone To call them, terrible service.

I have used this company for several years now. Customer satisfaction has slowly gone downhill. Last two orders (even though said in stock & shipped 3-4 days) took 10-14 days just to fill. It's been almost a month since I ordered, and almost 2 wks since they supposedly shipped my lenses. Still don't have them. 3 orders ago I had them within a week to the US and they had shipped from New York? Last order took a week to receive, so this has by far been the longest I've waited for contacts. I understand it takes time to ship overseas/customs etc, but combined with their slow fill time...this will likely be the last time I use Lens Planet.

Ordered contact lenses mid January and now the 5th Feb still not even despatched. Company do not reply to emails and there is no contact number for customer services.

Shame I cannot give this company zero stars. Late delivery (waited 1 month for my lenses to arrive), effortless customer service and slow communication. With plenty of competitive providers in this space I will not be buying back from Lensplanet.

Lens planet offers the worst customer service. It takes them over a month to ship lenses and over a week to respond to any queries. Avoid at all costs!

And I am in desperate need of feedback as to where my order is . placed it on June 8, 2015 and have not received it. I have sent multiple emails to them but have heard nothing. This is my first complaint. I have raved about them to family and friends because of their superior service and product. But this has me very concerned . Please help! Need my contacts! Debra Hughes

I purchased 12 months supply of Contact Lenses online. My order arrived short. I tried telephoning the company on the number shown on their website and this is no longer in service. I emailed and got a reply saying the balance of my order would be sent within a couple of days. That was 11 days ago and I am still waiting. To date, They have NOT replied to any further emails since. In my opinion, Buy with extreme caution!

Unprofessional, unreliable, what else can you expect from this company? ... oh yeah no refund! They won't refund me even though they said they would. They continue to ignore my Request for my Money back and they never even shipped my order.

I've been wearing contacts for 21 years. I've never experienced pain or discomfort from wearing them unless foreign matter finds its way into my lens. To make a long story short, ordered 4 boxes from lensplanet.com - 2 for my left eye and 2 for my right. The -6.00 contacts for my right eye are just fine, however, the -5.75 contacts for my left caused me immediate discomfort from the first time I put one in. I tried to sit it out, thinking that my eyes needed to adjust to them. Within an hour, my eye was tearing uncontrollably. I removed the lens and replaced it with another from the same box - same discomfort, same uncontrollable tearing. So I didn't wear my contacts for awhile thinking that eye needed a rest or something. The other night I went to try again - a brand new lens was opened and I put it in my eye - same discomfort. I then tried using one of the -6.00 lenses in my left eye and it was fine. No pain, nothing. That's when I examined the painful -5.75 and noticed that the edges were slightly curled. I proceeded to open another, then another, just to find that all of them were curled straight from the box. I contacted their customer service and politely explained my problem and was sent a form letter referring to their return/refund policy. I was told that they were unable to do anything about it and that I'm just stuck with the defective lenses. Do yourself a favor a order from a reputable company like 1-800-contacts or something and stay far far away from these peddlers of possibly counterfeit contact lenses (lenses were in a foreign box with what appears to be Korean writing). Buyer beware - if you have any issues with your order, don't expect any help. Lensplanet.com is an unscrupulous company that will not offer any follow up service once they have your money. Even the canned response took a week to get to me. They have lost my business for good and if you're smart, you'll stay far away from these people.

The company contacted me directly and apologized. They sent me 2 replacement boxes of the defective lenses. I tried to delete this review but the site won't let me. They righted their wrong so I'm changing my review to 4.5 stars and will probably use them again in the future.

I ordered 6 months' supply of contact lenses from lens planet and the lenses did not show up. I have spent 3 months pursuing this without any success and am £115 out of pocket Lens planet claim that the lenses were delivered on the basis of a call with Royal Mail. They cannot provide proof of delivery. The customer services centre are unhelpful and do not take responsibility for complaints. The shipping department are uncontactable except via e-mail. This is an unprofessional, budget operation and I advise people to stay away.

I too am having the same problem. Order lenses online 26th October. I have sent 6 emails and been fobbed off with the lenses they ordered arrived damaged so they are waiting for the supplier to send the next batch out. I have twice requested a refund because I have not received the lenses in the time they promised. I'm at my wits end. There is no phone number for them and I've found out they are based in Jersey. Please help!
