Excellent Holiday Park
Well after the 1st review I saw, I think they have made the mess themselves and been on drugs themselves. Here is an honest review. The site is busy but goes quiet after 11pm. in the 15 years we have been camping we have had no issues, hence all ways camping at cofton. The site is clean and tidy, the chip shop on site gets very busy but is nice. local Chinese down the road that will deliver and very tasty. just opened a fishing tackle shop, fishing can be hard but is good. facilities are up to date and very good. outdoor pool is clean. my only gripe is that no night fishing is allowed. staff are brill and very helpful. security which is not rally needed do a great job. very friendly site where kids are safe to go and play. road speed limits kept to. local to the beech and a big supermarket just down the road. Bus stops just out side the site. plenty to do and places to go. please do not be put off by the 1st review they are barking mad.

Cofton Stack Caravans/ Tents Like Sardines
We have been going for at least 12 years and out of season is fine, but we went 3 years running in august and will never go back again. The security guards just dont care if you complain about noise, we were kept awake until after 2am most nights, late arrivals are allowed at anytime, and early departures. Drugs and booze are rife on this site!
The staff are always friendly but dont actually do anything with your complaint whilst smiling and making excuses.
Dirty bins were kept in the clean water stands, with dirty nappies all over it, the fresh water from these areas goes back into the fresh drinking tank after its washed over all the filth.
The shop is always well stocked and reasonable on price.
Thank you for you comments. It's a shame that you had such a bad experience on your last visit following 12 years of holidaying with us. We certainly don't condone alcoholism or drugs on our site as we are family holiday park. Security guards are on hand till the early hours in order to keep noise to a minimum and do take appropriate action with unlawful behaviour.
We do work hard to keep the site clean and tidy all year round, during the summer when we are running at our peak it makes the task more challenging however bins are emptied on a regular basis.
We are constantly making changes and improvements to the site and will take your comments on board concerning the bin areas and water points.

We stayed at cofton in november, i think they're open all year now for touring pitches, we stayed on a hard standing pitch next to the fishing lakes because my husband is an avid angler and happy that the fishing is free over the winter months we dont want to rant about cofton and make it busier for ourselves but the quality of the're facilities are the best. see theyre website for more info http://www.coftonholidays.co.uk
