They could not supply an unlock code for my Sony-Ericsson K800i.

"Colin" apologised, and promised a refund.

This was never made.

The company is, as far as I can tell, untraceable.

I would advise people not to attempt to do business with it.

This is obiously a con and because the amount is so small they are probably not going to get many people chasing it up. I tried for a couple of months but to no avail. Stick to a shop. Thats where I went in the end no trouble at all.

Sent a couple of codes, which were only temporary. First code didn't work. Second code was too long for the phone, so suspect these were generic codes rather than specific to my phone. They promised a refund, but it never came, even after prompting emails. Basically a con - avoid.

Id have to say I disagree with the other rewiews left by people.. even though sad to hear that it seams most people arent getting what they paid for.

My dad got a blackberry storm on vodafone and wanted to change it to work with Tesco mobile. Send for code last night at about 12pm, cost £5.30, woke up this morning and had email in inbox with code. Followed instructions on their page and WALA! No problems.. now works with tesco mobile!

Would say to those who have had probs - make sure you follow instructions for exact phone, and that you requested code for your exact phone in first place.. also maybe check instructions for unlocking your device elsewhere online just to make sure your entering it properly?

But as i said, these guys arent complete scammers as worked fine for me, and saved me £10 and inconvenience on high street prices. Good luck!

several emails later and 2 months with still no refund.

I guess they assume most people wont bother taking it further ... I Will!

Steer clear

This company (Mobi-unlock) charged me £3.44 by paypal and I received an email asking for further info, which I sent, and then an email saying they could not unblock my phone. No promise of a refund and two months later Ive given up waiting and have contacted paypay.

Do not use this fraudulent company! I have only given one star as no choice.

They took my money, then got an email request for more information.

Then got another email stating unable to produce code,I will get a full refund within 6 days.

1 month later still waiting for refund.

Total SCAM

Total Waste of time and a ccomplete rip off. The codes did not work so I emailed them 3 times over the space of a week and they did not reply once. I filed a dispute with paypal and they refunded my payment within the day! If you have happended to purchase a code that hasn't work make sure you do file a complaint through paypal and they will refund your payment.

Total waste of time and money, they send you information you can get free and it does not even work. (Samsung Soul U900) found out they sent me info I already had found for free and it did not work.

I have a Motorola Razr V3 locked to Vodafone. I placed my order with Mobi unlock at midnight on a Saturday, £4.59 paid with Pay Pal. (I felt that they would not be using Pay Pal if they were ripping off their customers.) At 2:30 in the morning they sent me 3 codes to use - the first one I used unlocked the phone. Easy. Then I had to set up the phone as I wanted to use an unregistered SIM from Orange. That seemed to be more complex until I phoned Orange. They registered the phone, 5 minutes later they sent me a text saying turn the phone off and back on again and hey presto!! it is all working fine.

I would use Mobi Unlock again and recommend them.
