MerseaHomes come with a local recommendation as one of the best indepedent builders in the Essex / Colchester and Mersea area.

Unfortunately you are only as good as the craftsmen you employ, the skills of the site manager to spot mistakes and finally the way mistakes are rectified once noticed.

Merseahomes has failed in all 3 of these areas with not just our property but a number of others on The Grove development and other developments.

I had not expected Merseahomes to try and wriggle out of major issues but we have found out that they are no better than our previously brand new national housebuilder home which falls very short of the expectation we had and their own website moto "Value without compromise"

In short a local builder that now delivers national builder standards and hides behing the NHBC flag - which as we know is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Be prepared to fight your corner if you have to deal with the owners of this company as so far they have proved very difficult to deal with, with poor customer services.
