Repair A Ring
Hi,
My husband bought an engagement ring at Art Jewels.
About 1 year later,one of the stone started to become loose and we asked for repair.
After the repair the same stone became loose again and it was repaired again.
Now,the stone completely fell out!! I have been very disappointed.
We went to the Art Jewels in Wimbledon to ask for repair.
I showed the staff my ring and first word he said was 'this is an old style ring so I should change to another ring. But the price is different.'
I was very disappointed what he suggested. He was trying to sell another ring to us!!
We asked if it is possible to repair the ring. He said he could and told us the price for repair which we were not expecting to pay as this shouldn't have happened and this is the third time we have had problems with their product. He still looked unhappy to repair the ring.
He next said, it is better to remake the ring completely from the beginning and he quoted us very expensive price for it.
We lost words and got very disappointed.
I am not able to wear the ring for a long time until I ask another jeweller to repair.
I have had a terrible experience with Art Jewels.
I don't recommend buying jewellery at Art Jewels.
I am not buying jewellery at Art Jewels NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

My name is Ancois Els.
My Fiance had my engagement ring made by Art Jewels in Wimbledon.
He first went to the shop 3 August 2009 he got the ring 16 Sep, the ring was too small so I took it back to get it resized, but the jeweler was on holiday, so when he got back after 2 and a half weeks I took it in and was told that it needed to be sent away for 3 weeks because it needs to get Hallmarked after its been resized. It has now been 3weeks and 2 days I went in to get it today and the ring was the right size but had no hallmark, so I have been engaged for over a month now and still I have not been able to wear my ring it has to be sent away again!!! I have never had such a horrible experience with jewelers and I am horribly dissapointed. Sorry to say, but I know where I wont be shoping for wedding rings NOT Art Jewels in Wimbledon.
Yes,I know that they really do bad services.
