NEW FURNITURE / NEW LIGHTING DIRECT ARE FRAUDSTERS ON 23 OCTOBER 2009 THEY TOOK £111.70 DIRECT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AND NEVER DELIVERED THE CORRECT PRODUCT. I WROTE TO THE MD DIANE BERNARD REQUESTING A REFUND AS PER TRADING STANDARDS GUIDANCE BUT STILL AM OWED MONEY. THE COMPANY CEASED TRADING ON 23 MARCH 2010 BUT ACCORDING TO COMPANIES HOUSE NO LIQUATORS APPOINTED. VERY STRANGE. I AM CURRENTLY WRITING TO COMPANIES INVESTIGATION BRANCH (CIB) TO SEE IF THEY CAN HELP. I HAVE ALSO WRITTEN TO WATCHDOG AS THERE LOTS OF US OUT THERE WHO HAVE BEEN CONNED BY THIS COMPANY AND THEIR DIRECTORS.

Unfortunately I Paid For My Light By Debit Card So
Unfortunately I paid for my light by debit card so I am unable to get my money back. I feel they knew when I ordered what was going to happen, they were quick enough to take the money! Like lots of others I emailed and phoned and was told it was on back order, then recieved the 'gone bust' email and there is absolutely nothing I can do. Shouldn't be allowed.

Why didnt I see these reviews before ordering. I found this company through Amazon but ordered directly as they didnt have the lights I wanted! 8 weeks, 4 emails and 1 Gone out of business notice later I have no lights and no money!
Considering that people were experiencin the same treatment 6 months ago I feel sure that this was not an accident!

I have previously wrote my reviews regarding this company and I would just like to say I have just received a credit from my credit card company so I advise anyone else if they are awaiting goods advise your credit card company of the situation and hopefully you will get any money owing. It is about time they went out of business how they managed to carry on as long as they did I dont know. If i could have given no stars in the rating I would have.

I Ordered Light Fittings Six Weeks Ago Afte
I ordered light fittings six weeks ago after placing my order the money was taken from credit card immediately (fast service on that side of the business) then I was told they where out of stock and would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. When the 4 weeks was nearly up I emailed them to ask when delivery would be I got a reply from Adam so say they could not supply for another 3 weeks what did I want to do, I replied asking for a refund and that was the last communication, they have ignored my 4 emails the phone is constantly engaged - I have now put it into the hands of my credit card company who will now investigate - How these companies can get away with this sort of trading, don't fall for their impressive promises on their website

Ordered lights 3 months ago. Just like everyone else, after a string of email exchanges (all of which very politely answered) after 2 months there was still no delivery date. I asked to cancel my order and this was done instantly and refund promised within 28 days. I waited and waited. No refund. As I paid through Paypal, my 45 days to dispute the transaction had passed as I was so patiently waiting for my product. They know what they are doing and keep you hanging on with their polite responses. Needless to say, once I started sending angry emails after the 28 days I haven't had a single reply. I will be sending a formal notice letter about taking legal action and writing to Trading Standards, who will take action if they have enough complaints. It sounds as though these people are stealing - there is no other word for it. I believe the positive reviews on this site can only be fictitious. Just search further on other review sites and you will see.
