Do Not Use Terminal A!!! I Was Booked O
DO NOT USE TERMINAL A!!!
I was booked on a flight on a route which I did not ask for and made to pay for a new flight from the airline at the airport.
When I called from the airport I was told by Terminal A I would be refunded for this.
Then, because the first leg of my return ticket booked by Terminal A was not boarded, my return flight was cancelled and I was made to pay again.
Terminal A did not warn me about this and since have been very very unhelpful, basically blaming everything on me.
It has been months and they won't return emails and I don't know if I will see my money again.
DO NOT USE TERMINAL A.

Purchased Two Return Tickets In Nov 2010,to Fly Fr
Purchased two return tickets in Nov 2010,to fly from Larnaca, Cyprus to Athens, Greece on 15th May 2010, recieved payment confirmation and eticket ok.
when I presented my eticket at the check was told it was not valid and that the flights had not been paid for, it ended up by my having to purchase two new return tickets or not fly! After much remonstrating with Cyprus Airways they let me have the new tickets at the previously booked price.
On trying to phone Termina A, I just get a recorded message with their opening hours, have emailed them and recieved a reply that they went into liquidation last November. Have now contacted my Credit card company to try and reclaim my money, not holding my breath though!!
However they still seem to be trading and accepting bookings
Avoid them at all cost.

Warning!! 14th April 2010. Terminala Are Claiming
WARNING!! 14th April 2010. TerminalA are claiming to be in insolvency, although their website is still up and running and apparently accepting bookings. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
I booked two flights through them last September, for May and June this year. There have been several changes of flight times (which are no fault of TerminalA) but on each occasion TerminalA were unhelpful and disinterested 'due to an operational fault' and I had to administer the changes myself direct with the airline.
In March, TerminalA advised me that one of my flights had been cancelled, but that 'due to a sytem falure' they were unable to refund my payment, and that I should seek reparation direct from the airline. After a long and fruitless correspondence TerminalA have advised me today that they are insolvent. They have so far not advised me of the administrators of the insolvency so that I may register as a creditor.
I note that another reviewer here reports that they claimed to be insovent over a month ago .... yet no notice of that was given to me by TerminalA, nor does their website give notice.
My advice? AVOID TERMINALA AT ALL COSTS ..... and have a happy flight through another agent.
Incidentally, the star rating on this site does not permit me to give zero stars - my minimum one star rating therefore does not accurately reflect the contempt I have for TerminalA.
I was about to book through Terminal A until I started reading their FAQs. Explaining why your credit card may be debited twice but you will be refunded in a week or at longest a month. Alarm bells. Then went searching to find some info on this company and read the review by ajstorer. My doubts confirmed than k you. Thanks

I Ordered Three Return Tickets To Sicily With This
I ordered three return tickets to Sicily with this company in Sept 2009. The outward flights were canceled by the airline in Nov 2009. Terminal A have not refunded me and now they tell me they have filed for insolvency. in Feb 2010 Then, against my wishes, they have canceled the return flights and again cannot refund me because of their financial problems.
I am now having to pay £850 to replace the tickets I bought from Terminal A for £544, and try to get my credit card to refund the money for the canceled tickets. Terminal A's customer service is dreadful. They are still selling tickets, but if there is any problem with your flights they cannot refund you. They'll tell you to claim a refund from the airline, but the airline cannot refund you direct because your contract is with the travel agent.
I would prefer to give them minus stars, but this site won't let me! I cannot emphasize strongly enough, do not use this travel agent!

Terminal A Are Now Insolvent. I Booked
TERMINAL A ARE NOW INSOLVENT.
I booked to Malta and used my credit card. I contacted them by chance today to make an amendment and have been told they are now insolvent and accepting no bookings or alterations.
Apparently their travel system access has been withdrawn and customer service refuse to give details of the administrators to reclaim.
Customers must contact their credit card company immediately to claim back their bookings.

I Booked A Flight For My Friends Wedding To Fly At
I booked a flight for my friends wedding to fly at with Aer Lingus using Terminal A, I booked it in advance as you do then got an email from Aer Lingus saying they were not flying to Portugal afterall. I contacted Terminal A who I know strung me along saying the refund could take up to 8/10 weeks which I think is disgusting, then after me sending followup emails, I get emailed back from them saying they are going into insolvency. This has never happened to me before, we have had to borrow money to pay for another flight and I still dont know how to get my money back. I am very angry and would like any advice in what I need to do.
hello guys,
i had the same experience with Terminala. booked my flights to africa to visit my friend, when i went to the airport, was told that my e-ticket is not valid. Had to buy new one, and when i demanded for a refund, was kindly told, that company has filed for insolvency.
now, under the law of obligations, creditors come first, when it comes to allocating the leftover funds from the business. and unpaid creditors, which are consumers/customers are at the top of the list normally. so, you can ask them to send the their insolvency officers details, then contact them and ask them to send you insolvency forms. to solve the situation this way - it will take most probably about 2 - 5 years, and you are likely to recovers 20-30% of your fees if you are lucky.
i have done a little bit of research, and the only organisation that you can complain is ECC (european consumer centre). they have a form, that you can fill in - and then they to do the legal work for you. you need to wait 30 days after you received the last reply from terminala before you can submit your complain.
i would also advice to try and contact your bank, especially if you paid with credit card - they should be able to assist you to recover your fees. i have paid with the debit card (unlucky...but will try and see if they can help me at all)
good luck to all of you.
Hi, the same thing has happened with a flight I booked through Terminal A last year. I cancelled it, was informed of the 10 week refund period and then received the insolvency email. The airline (TAM) say they can't refund the ticket. I can't afford to lose this money (£700!) so my next step is travel insurance (not holding out much hope though.) If I come across any solution i'll let you know. Please let me know if you've had any luck pursuing other avenues to get your money back. Cheers.

I Bought A Ticket For My 2 Children From "terminal
I bought a ticket for my 2 children from "terminal a ticket agency" to come from america and this company took the initial money for the tickets and then took another £300.00 from my debit card the next day.
I am disabled and on a very low income and had saved up for two years to bring my children over from the states.
this was over 3 months ago and they refuse to refund the cash.which has left me with no money for christmas.
These people continue to tell me the refund is in process and then ignore me.
i have spend over £30.00 on a 0845 number and getting nowhere.
these people have basicly stolen £300.00 from me and i would recomend no-one uses thier company as they are a bunch of crooks??
"terminal a ticket agency is a big con"

I Have Having Problems Getting Them To Put My Firs
I have having problems getting them to put my first name on the reservations. On their website they only asked for the initial of the 2nd passenger and my husband complied. Now this is causing us problems, they cannot or will not put my full name on the ticket. I am told by the airline that it is their responsibility and will not be able to fly until they do it. I am still waiting.

An Online Airfare Ticket Company That Can Be Trust
An online AirFare ticket Company that can be trusted 'Terminal A .Co.uk'
http://web200.terminala.com/webpages/index.aspx
I recently went online to book two return airfares to Vienna from London Heathrow. On comparing prices I was directed to a company called 'Terminal A.co. uk'. There I purchased my return tickets at a very reasonable price.
Sadly the day before I travelled I discovered an error in that the outward journey had not had tickets allocated to it although the return tickets were allocated. British Airways forced me to pay for two new tickets at full price in order to travel, even though two seats were reserved in our names. Plus they added extra costs because the online facility would not allow us to book the two new tickets due to the fact we were reserved on the flight by Terminal A, so British Airways had to do the re booking manually on the telephone.
I whilst in Vienna reported this problem to Terminal A.co.uk who said and I quote "Do not worry on your return to the UK contact us and we will sort this out. This I did and I can tell you this company fully accepted that they had made a mistake, and then fully refunded the all the extra costs that it caused.
In this day and Age it is nice to know that there are people and business out there online that can be trusted like this company can. It gives one full peace of mind when booking in the future.
