Absolutely Awful Service With Zero Help
I have been so upset and disappointed with this company. Please avoid them at all costs. We purchased an item off them which is broken and we have never been able to use. It's cost us £130 so not cheap. I contacted them several times via email and telephone and they would not try to help just kept saying not their issue / go to the manufacturer or just not responding. I went to the manufacturer who said to go back to the company. I am now getting advice from the ombudsman as this is unacceptable. Please avoid.

We purchased a sound system for our television, unfortunately this stopped working just outside of warranty. Ask advised us they could repair the items for a charge to which we agreed. We sent the items off as requested and they where received in good time and as new condition. We where advised it would cost £150 to have the item repaired. This was nearly half the initial cost of the item new. Feeling in a bind and having already sent in the item we decided to trust them to carry out the repairs. Nearly 5 months later of continuous emails and phone calls we eventually received one part of the item back, it was poorly packaged and as a result extremely damaged. We contacted ask who advised us the item was in good condition when it left them. The other two parts of the item arrived the following day and these where also damaged. The damage is not discreet and pretty much ruins the item. Contacting ask they had the courier collect the items for inspection. The courier was not willing to accept responsibility and to be honest I cannot blame them. To say the packaging was sub standard is an understatement. Ask offered they MAY be able to refund the repair fee and return the damaged item to us. How Kind! I am not one to usually complain but I feel that other consumers need to be made aware of the shortfalls in service and care we have received. The short of it is now we are looking to take the company to a small claims court to try and recoup the cost to replace our now damaged item. My advice is steer clear.
Ask have given us a new replacement unit and have resolved the situation amicably.

i would urge you to think carefully before purchasing with this company as their after sales customer service is disgusting. They are an arrogant company who know best. Their after sales service is a joke. I can evidence my comments-I bought a cover for my camera which didn't fit. The camera had to be forced into the cover and the flap wouldn't close. In simple terms it was both faulty and wrongly advertised. I returned it only to be offered a partial refund (I can evidence that fact Ask!!!). Then when I tried to get all my money back they came up with excuse after trashy excuse that it was my fault and they disputed my claims. In other words don't complain Mr Liar! I urge you to buy from Amazon and steer clear from this arrogant; unhelpful; uncaring and ignorant company. By the way Ask I've saved all my emails so if you want to dispute bring it on.

Warning No Delivery For Four Months
Ordered 2 pc speakers via groupon in the middle of december. ASK Direct said my order was dispatched the day after I put my order, , I´ve still havent received the package

This is the first time I've ever done a review but the service from AskDirect has compelled me to go into print!
I ordered a Samsung LED TV through Group On about 10 days ago and despite a couple of poor reviews decided I'd take the risk.
The TV was being delivered by TNT last Friday but somehow got damaged before it even made it onto their van! TNT in their wisdom decided to send it back to Ask without even telling me. It was only evident that this had happened when I checked their web tracker and made a phone call to TNT.
Unhappy, as you can imagine, I called Ask on Monday morning (20th) and enquired how they would resolve this problem as I didn't want to wait any longer for the TV.
Unbelieveably they dispatched their 'man in a van' and I was sat in my front room watching my new TV by 4pm.
I think this is incredible customer service and would have no hesitation using AskDirect again.

I Will Never Use This Company Again, Total Wasted My Time.
My wife wanted to buy me a new dslr camera for my anniversary, I found one on this site but I didn't want to send money to a company I have never used before so I thought I would buy a cheaper item first, I bought 2 sensor air fresheners, I paid for them waited the 8 working days for delivery but nothing so I emailed them & was told I would have to wait a further 7 working days. To cut a long story shortf after almost a month I still have nothing & now they are going to refund my payment, looks like I will have to wait another month just to get my refund, I'm just glad I didn't send the money for the camera as I would hate to think how much I would lose to this company.
Do yourselves a favour STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Don't use Ask at all costs, Customer service is shocking! bought a pressure washer though groupon, it arrived and used it 4 times before it broke. Customer service has never answered the phone or replied to my emails, until i threatened legal action. Will never ever use this company again.

Terrible! Avoid At All Costs
I ordered an iPad from Ask Direct via Groupon on 16th March with an estimated delivery time of seven working days. Now on 13th April there is still no sign of the iPad.
I have sent 7 emails so far and am unable to get through on the phone. They have taken over £300 of my money and I have nothing in return.
Terrible service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Groupon Saving Was Great, Ask Direct Delivered As Promised
I'm a frequent Groupon buyer - there are some decent deals out there. I bought a macbook advertised for just over £1k - list price with Apple was £1.4k - website quoted delivery in 7 working days and sure enough it arrived exactly two weeks after ordering (with easter and weekends they met the 7 working day promise).
Laptop was well packaged, similar to Apple outer box and in usual Apple seal.
I would deal with this company again.

Never Ever Shop From Askdirect
I purchased a Sony Playstation from AskDirect. They told me that it was going to be delivered within 5 working days. However it's been almost a month now and nothing has been delivered! I have tried to call them so many times but never ever was able to reach someone - they do not pick up calls. And I sent email at least 10 times and no reply at all!! Never ever again I will shop from Askdirect.
Is this a common occurrence with this company? I ordered an SD card from them via Groupon a month ago and still have not received it. I have tried to contact Ask to resolve the issue but have not had a response yet. Poor show, would not trust again!
