Aqua One T620 Aquarium Accessory

I have had my Aqua One aquarium for just over a year now. I bought it on sale for £150 in my local aquarium supply shop in London. It think I paid extra for the matching stand but cannot actually remember. I have had four or five different aquariums from different manufacturers over the years but this is by far my favourite.

The all-in-one acrylic design is exceptionally easy to keep clean. Unlike glass it does not seem to scratch when you clean it which means you do not get those horrible marks where algae grows in the scratches and you cannot get it out no matter how hard you scrub (which of course makes matters worse in a glass aquarium). The was the thing I hated most about my previous aquariums because even if it had just been cleaned it always looked a little scruffy.

The other major bonus is the entire filtration system sits on top of the aquarium so you can change the filter media without getting your hands wet. It has a triple filtration system which works really well and the pump even when half full with plant leaves gives out a strong flow. This has made life so easy because keep the aquarium clean is now not a major chore involving buckets, towels, newspaper and about an hour of work.

You still need to change the water once a month or so but you can keep it clean between times in about 20 mins a week. The only issue is that the media you have to buy to the filters is by Aqua One too and if your local shop stops selling it you have to find another (as happened to me).

Still my fish seem quite happy with it so that is what matters!
