I chose Pocketfold Invites because the designs from their gallery looked good and the costs seems drastically cheaper than using a local supplier. I decided to write this review to warn others that they may end up wasting a lot of time explaining to the "experts" basic information. My emails to Pocketfold couldnt have been clearer yet I had to confirm and reconfirm basic instructions over a number of weeks. Eventually I received my complete order (after being dispatched in 3 stages) and while the invites looked great and cant help feeling disappointed by the whole experience. The rest of the team really need to get their act together and start communicating with each other. Its not good enough to keep apologising for mistakes - just take time to get it right in the first place!

I'm now into week 3 of trying to agree a proof with pocketfold invites - sometimes with 3 attempts of pdf files being reviewed in a single day, which I have found frustrating. The latest moment of disbelief was the arrival of the envelope we requested - amazingly, the envelope is too small for the invite! On the upside, the quality of the invitation proof was good (good paper, etc). I'm not sure I trust them to deliver the final product soon or as per the final agreed proof as things that were 'fixed' have re-appeared. I would recommend that you only deal with them if you're feeling lucky (some people seem to have had great experiences with them) or if you're prepared to invest a lot of time and energy and patience reviewing and discussing corrections (sometimes the same request has to be made 3 or 4 times).

It's a great concept to make your own stationery but one word of advice - leave PLENTY of time!

I'm sure we've just been really unlucky, but it took over a week for the order to be processed and delivered and when it was delivered, it was somebody else's order.

So I emailed and it took a further couple of working days (and a phone call from me) to get a response. They told me our order would be redelivered the next day and could we please re-package the order they had sent us incorrectly so the fedex man could collect it and take it to it's rightful owners. I thought it was great customer service, but then the fedex guy picked up the old package .. but didn't deliver the new one! He left a note to say he'd leave it in our safeplace when it was ready to be delivered.

That was last Wednesday and it's now Monday. I emailed Pocketfolds on Friday and no response. Not really that impressed, so I'm hoping the wait (and the cost of over £100) will be worth it!
