I recently went into town and came across a kiosk doing 'Your image on canvas in 2hrs'. So I had a look at the canvases that they were selling and considering that this was their point of sell I was amazed at the lack of quality. I thought to myself, surely you want people to see good examples of your products. These canvases were rough and the image that was wrapped around the frame was cracked and even the frame itself looked as though it was made from chipboard from the local B&Q. The person on the kiosk did even notice me so I walked off.

So later while at home i did some research and still unsure I called this company (Opix) that I found on a sponsored link while having a search on Google.

The customer service blew me away to say the least, they answered all the questions I had and explained about the different types of canvas, inks and the importance of using a protective varnish etc. The nicest point of all though was that at the end of explaining all this they did not try the hard sell. They simply advise me of some key things I should look for and said:

"By all means have a look around and if you have any more questions then please feel free to call us as we are always here to help".

This I though was a very nice touch, so since I had already looked around and called them in the first place because they were competitive, I used them.

Then once they had my money the service did not disappear like some companies I have dealt with in the past. They regularly emailed me and let me know what was going on, they sent me proofs by post and in general just really looked after me un to the point I received my wonderful canvas and confirmed I was delighted with it.

It's really nice in this day and age to feel appreciated. So like them I'm not going to tell you to use them, but it's nice to know there are some companies (unlike my energy supplier) that treat you in such a respectful and caring way.
