New York Cakes in Atwood Michigan provided me with the uglist cake I've ever laid eyes on. I asked for a sand castle cake and even provided them a picture. When they arrived with the cake, it was this lumpy, ridiculous cake, and the tier was held together with a paper towel holder. The top part was PHALLIC looking, and I was stunned by the craftmanship of it being molded with their hands. I called them to say it looked nothing like what I had asked for, and they was not helpful at all since they had cashed my check. What a joke, I cried all morning about how ugly it really was. We had to cut it right away because people were offended by the phallic piece on top.
