Accepted An Online Booking, Get There And They’re Closed
Booked an MOT with them using their online booking form and received email confirmation the time and date was accepted only to get there and they’re closed. Absolutely awful service, I turned down work and lost out on money to make sure I could get my car MOT’d , now I’ve got three days to book it in elsewhere
Rodent's Revenge
My Mercedes dropped into "limpmode" Booked it into Unit5 for investigation and it was found to be damage caused by a mouse chewing through a cable. Fault rectified promptly and charged at most acceptable rate. I have used this company before and would recommend them wholeheartedly

Unknown Fault Solved
2 other garages had looked at my grand Picasso and told me it was a communication error with central computer. Car kept not starting, showing random faults and eco didnt work. They all checked battery and said it was fine. As a last resort I took it to unit 5 motorcade. Battery fault identified, replaced with high end battery. Everything now works as it should. They know what they are doing and I will be using them for all 3 family cars in future.

Great Service And Friendly Staff
Fixed my BMW 3 series same day after 3 other garages couldn’t find the fault. Great service and good value for money, would highly recommend.
Thank you!!

An Unhappy Experience..
I have used this company for many years as i have had several BMW,S and have to say they are not the best so called specialist, in BMW,s as they like to portray them self,s as.My car recently had to go to there workshop, i was met by a rude receptionist who told me they was so busy and had a bollocking from the Boss who is her Husband for excepting my car , i did explain that i was very grateful and could wait several day,s for them to look at my car but left my car with them and feeling very angry how they spoke to me, I was phoned the next day only to be told they didn't have the equipment to fix my car i eventually took the car to a main dealer who fixed the car the next day and was approx the same price as quoted by unit 5, a lesson learnt is go to the main dealer Barrets BMW, very professional and happy staff greeting you on your entrance, i am surprised MR John Cousin,s at unit 5 has any customer,s as friends and family used to use them and like myself have now gone to other garages for much better service and CUSTOMER CARE.....

Appalling Service. I Wouldn't Recommend Unit 5 Mot
Appalling service. I wouldn't recommend Unit 5 Motorcare to my worst enemy. I travelled ten mils to pick my car up - after phoning and being told it would be - only to be told it wasn't ready. Twice. Was told I needed a new radiator to sort a coolant leak. New rad fitted at great expense but didn't fix the problem. Car was in and out numerous times (at even greater expense) in repeated bids to find source of leak. Eventually gave up and took it to another garage who told me the new rad had a hole - manufacturing fault. Also, Unit 5 promises courtesy cars which don't materialise. Steer well clear.
