My Zanussi fridge freezer broke down after just 3 years. I contacted Zanussi to see if they would pay for the repairs as a gesture of goodwill (it was outside its guarantee), but they wouldn't.

Fridges really ought to last at least 10 years, and breaking down after 3 is really not on. I won't be buying a Zanussi again: you have been warned!
