If i could give Why Wood Works 10 stars i would. They are BRILLIANT. I purchased the IM dolly pram and pintoy fire station for my Grand children The quality of the products was second to none, the attention to detail is perfect. Excellant quality. I placed my order on tuesday afternoon at approx 13:30 and my products where with me on the Wednesday at 14:30, now that is what i call service. I also had occasion to speak with the team via e-mail regarding p&p, they were so prompt - they replied immediatley. I will certainly be purchasing from them again and have already recommended them to my friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for such great service and quality items. Keep up the good work.

I ordered Quadrilla Twist and Rail for my son on Thursday and it arrived promptly on Friday. The product is better than I expected, more substantial than others in the market and so many options for construction which has great play value. I have used Why Wood Works twice before and they have always delivered on time, promptly and have a great range of products. I have already recommend them to all my friends and look forward to using them again as Christmas approaches.

As my young daughter is now very much enjoying her 'animal theme', my husband and I decided to purchase a Animal Barn. We wanted a wooden one so looked around for a one that we liked. We found the Barn to be very reasonable at Why Wood Works, the website was very easy to navigate and use and the order process was easy, without glitches. And the chance to pay via paypal...always a bonus! It arrived within the stated time (and free delivery as a bonus!) The barn was easy to assemble and good quality.....PERFECT. Not sure who will enjoy it more, my daughter or my husband!

The website was very easy to use and navigate around with plenty of ideas for me to help with the birthday selection process!

Delivery was as described and on time and more importantly the product description and review matched perfectly = one happy five year old daughter (marble tower!!!)

Roll on Christmas!

After receiving the Hape All Season Wooden Dolls House a day late I found that it was missing a drill hole. I then paid someone to drill hole (didn't have right skills or tools to accurately drill without splitting the wood.

I contacted Why Wood Works who were initially apologetic but then did nothing to resolve the issue. They "passed the buck" to the manufacturer and said that they would replace it. It was also for a birthday present so we could not wait to go through the whole process again and then wait for delivery.

They also offered no compensation for the hassle and cost....not even a free doll.

I bought a pintoys wooden rocket which cost more than £40 from why wood works. It was a christmas present for my daughter and broke after a week of use. The problem was poor design and quality. When I contacted why wood works for a refund both by phone and email I received no response. It is a shame because I have previously bought products from them which have been fine. However, in this case, the customer service was absolutely zero.

I have ordered toys from Why Wood Works for the last 3 or 4 years. The products are fabulous quality and the delivery has always arrived on the next day. Again, I ordered this year in time for Christmas and have not been let down. The kiddomoto bike and helmet arrived before twelve on next day service. The team were very helpful. I will order again and would recommend this company highly.

The Carl Fogarty Kiddimoto balance bike was fantastic once it arrived. Ordered it on a Monday placed order with 'Why wood works' as they promise next day delivery and arrived on the Friday!- not good enough as it is ore expensive than on some sites.

My advise is to get the product elsewhere. The call centre you go through to are not helpful and don't care once the order has been received and they have taken payment.

I called and called and called and only ever received 1 phone call back when promised to investigate and get back to me.

Manager could not be contacted be staff on any of the days as the call centre staff could not get hold of her either. Communication was abysmal - AVOID !!

After shopping around for a marble run set we decided on the quadrilla twist and rail set. Why wood works offered the best price plus free delivery, I ordered it that night and it was delivered just 2 days later. Very well packaged, great item, very pleased. I received notification emails every step of the order so if needed I could have checked on my delivery. Great service and I would recommend and definitely buy from them again.
