Aamico

I was calling around and I finally found someone who could do transmission work if the axle damaged my tranny. So I found Aamico; which was 15 miles away from my house and my AAA only towed 5 miles. I called Aamico to see if their towing was included with getting service done at there garage and their answer was unclear to me. Because the guy said "yes" and then I went to pick up my car and saw a $94.00 for tow on my bill. When I asked the manager what the charge was about; he explained the tow was only free if my transmission was worked on and my tranny was not damaged by the axle replaced. So unless you pay $3000.00 of work on your tranny then the tow is charged on your bill. Do you think the serviceman I talked to on the phone told me that when I called. "NO" Do you think they cared that I could of upgraded my AAA for $60.00 and had free towing for a full year. Make sure you ask every question possible_ even if there is a charge for just diagnosing your car because there is. They might not tell you that up front though.
