A Really Relaxing Holiday
We stayed at Villa Thalassa and the villa itself was great and had everything we needed. The books provided on Sardinia were very handy indeed. The pool was fabulous, particularly for the children. We really liked the fact that the villa was in a small town with what appeared to be very few (if any) tourists other than ourselves - so we learnt a few phrases of Italian! We drove to a number of beaches heading south which were all easily accessible by car from the villa. All were fantastic and the water was incredibly clear and very warm. The holiday was lovely and relaxing and I would not hesitate in recommending the villa and this company. Thanks again for all your help!
Sardinia Villa Collection - All Look And Completely No Show
We rented a villa through Sardinia Villa Collection at the start of July 2012 and were unfortunately incredibly disappointed with the overall service offered. Whilst the process of actually booking for a villa was done on a timely basis, this was the only step that was easy and done efficiently. Once the deposit was paid, we found it incredibly dificult to get any response from the company. Up until 1 week prior to our arrival in Sardinia, we were ringing the company daily (in addition to sending multiple emails + facebook messages (whcih were then deleted) to get details of address, directions etc. We were so worried by this lack of response that on one of the many voice messages, we had to threaten to get in touch with the Italian Tourist Bureau. IT was only after this that we received a response on the details of the property.
Once in the villa, we discovered that our rental didn't come with a clean pool, nor changes to towels etc during the week. The rubbish from previous tenants was also not disposed of and we had to sort through their rubbish because they hadn't properly disposed in accordance with the local recylcing policies. Not an exactly relaxing start ot the holiday. Despite our complaints to the company, these were ignored and we were advised that we could clean the pool ourselves and that a change of towels would be an additional charge (depsite the website saying that there was a mid week change of linen). We spent most morning's cleaning pool; however we only discovered on the last day that there was a gardener who would have been happy to have come to the house . Clearly lack of communication/any interest to assist by the Sardinia Villas here.
Given the lack of response from the company when I tried to enquire as to directions etc and obtaiing access to the villa, I attempted to send messages via their facebook website. It is interesting to see that the Company seems deleted all of my messages from their site. This is clearly not an honest or reputable company and has no regard for client service or customer response. .Other travellers need to be very cautious about booking with Sardinia Villa Collection as the attention to detail, care, responsiveness and professionalism is lacking completely.
Overall a totally horrendous company to deal with and would not recommend using them.
Top Of The Range!
We enjoyed a lovely week in Villa Laguna, a superbly presented, top of the range villa. It is fitted out to a high standard, but still very relaxing and extremely comfortable. The pool and garden are a delight, with unspoilt views over the lagoon to top it off! Sarena's help and advice from the early booking stage to the final day of our holiday couldn't be bettered. We would wholeheartedly recommend Sarena and The Sardinia Villa Collection to anyone looking for a speacial holiday. We'll be back!

Firstly, thank you for the professional and friendly service you provided. We were able to enjoy a wonderful, uncomplicated holiday in Sardinia in large part due to your outstanding and professional efforts. Your premium representation on the internet, diligence in finding us the right holiday rental in the right location, greeting and escort from the airport to the apartment, and follow up during our stay as well as now are reasons enough to recommend your service to closest friends and family. When we started our search for a holiday rental in Sardinia, we were overwhelmed with the infinite amount of offers and impersonal websites. We were relieved to find your more premium and service oriented representation in Sardinia. My only recommendation would be to emphasise your service orientation more on the internet. Meeting at the airport was a big plus especially in an unfamiliar place like Sardinia. Apartment Aurelia was the right holiday rental in the right location.

Sardinia Villa Collection - Disappointing Service
A pleasant break which could have been much better. Poor directions to find the villa in the first place - don't arrive after nightfall if you can avoid it.
Not even a bottle of cold water in the fridge to welcome you, in fact nothing at all.
An office phone number that is often unanswered.
Finally, one month after returning still no sign of security deposit being returned.
Overall poor service coompared to the competition.
Just had to say that I have found exactly the same, directions terrible, 2 sunbeds for 6 people which were shockly rusty and dangerous, doesnt answer the phone or e-mails, was the most stressful holiday. I went to Villa Grazia in June, terrible service after we had paid the money. Still no deposit, I am just about to start legal proceedings - I have raised a complaint with Consumer Direct as they have advised that she is in breach of contract.
Stay away from this company at all costs.

We did provide you with precise and detailed directions to your villa, and were on hand to guide you through the last few hundred metres at 1am when you called us when you were lost. As promised, that 24 hour hotline you reached us on was manned at all times during your stay for any issues you may have had at all.
As you know our concierge service does offer to fully stock your fridge on arrival at a nominal charge and we're sorry you chose not to use that service.
As confirmed to you via email today your security deposit should have arrived in your account in full. Unfortunately it was not possible for us to refund it sooner as you had not provided us with your bank details until a few days ago.
We hope you enjoyed the villa however and are very pleased you had a pleasant break

From the moment we enquired, The Sardinia Villa Collection staff looked after us impeccably with great impartial advice to help us choose the right villa for us. Payment was simple and we appreciated the help with booking a hire car. It was a nice touch to be met at the airport and shown to the villa, the lady who checked us in was very helpful, informative and friendly. The villa itself was exactly as described and a perfect setting in which to relax and unwind. This was our first time in Sardinia and we fell in love with the island. All in all the holiday was everything we could have asked for and more! Highly recommended if you value a service with that personal touch and we will definitely be rebooking for 2011, maybe to explore the South of the island this time!

We Had An Amazing Time In A Villa Booked Via Saren
We had an amazing time in a villa booked via Sarena, the description was perfect, the location was beautiful and everyone had a thoroughly brilliant time. Communication was very easy, and it was altogether a stress free week as everything we required had been arranged. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough, so much so we are considering in making a third visit to Sardinia! 5 stars.

We Did Rent A Villa From [name Removed], The Owner
We did rent a villa from [name removed], the owner of this company. We had a few problems but they are shadowed by the main one: she still hasn't returned our "refundable" deposit and she does not answer emails or phone calls. Be careful when trusting her with your money. We are having a hard time getting our deposit back. The website is beautiful, it looks very professional. But looks can be deceiving.
We were willing to let the whole \\\"incident\\\" go and even kept the review short and free from details but after such comments we feel more people should be made aware of her bad business practice.
There is no arguing against facts and we have all the documentation and paper trail that proves what we are saying is true. We stayed at Villa Grazia in October 2009 and didn't receive our money back until January 2010 - and only after contacting the police, that was the only way to reach her. She also did not pay us any interest - which she should have after 4 months of holding our deposit.
Her lack of class and professionalism in dealing with the problem she created was just remarkable. Not only she never dealt with it herself, she asked her father to contact us and resolve it for her. Just another clear sign of her immaturity and lack of professionalism. She also never once apologized for all the stress she caused our family.
The problems at the Villa were many:
1. Pool - pump was broken, pool was very dirty. Problem was not fixed until near the end of our stay, which means we did not make use of the pool. No price reduction was made or even offered.
2. No towels - we were provided with hand towels (!). They were replaced a couple of days after but that doesn't change the fact that for 2 days we showered and had to bathe a 1 year old child and use hand towels to dry.
3. \\\"concierge service\\\" - a joke. Since the Satellite TV did not work as advertised, we asked where to go to rent a dvd. She didn't know - you'd think a concierge service would be able to answer simple questions like that. We found out ourselves by asking a local at a book store in Pula.
4. TV - did not work as advertised. Again, no apologies, price reduction or even acknowledgement of the issue.
The list goes on and on. But we are not going to waste any more time with such an immature and irresponsible girl.
Avoid doing business with her. You'd be doing yourself a favour.

It's undeniable that, regardless of any problems she may have encountered when figuring out the numbers with her bank or ours, she had no interest in solving this. Not only she couldn't be bothered to deal with this herself, she actually asked her father to do it for her. Also, she never once apologized for the stress she caused our family. Just another sign of her immaturity and lack of professionalism. In fact, the last reviewer used a very good word to describe her - flakey.

4. \"Concierge Service\" - a joke. Since the tv did not work, we wanted to know where to rent a video. She and her friend did not know where to rent a movie. We found out ourselves after asking a local at a book shop in Pula. You'd think a concierge service should know that.
And the list goes on but we won't waste any more time with such an unreliable and unprofessional person.
As the owner of The Sardinia Villa Collection I feel I must clarify some points relating to this review. The guest in question supplied me with their bank information for the refund of the security deposit over a month after their departure despite my having requested it immediately following their stay. The information they provided was incorrect and I was unable to make the transfer
The guest repeatedly insisted they had given me the correct information and as a result I was obliged to spend many hours on the telephone seeking to resolve the situation.
I started with my bank, HSBC who advised me that the transit routing was incorrect and not accepted by their international systems.
I then rang the guests bank in Canada, who insisted that the number they provided was correct and seemed unable to accept that it was not working.
I therefore called my bank again and sought their advice as to how this circle might be squared. After being transferred between several helpful but frustrated bank staff members, I was finally advised, would you believe, that they had consulted Wikipedia and that, based upon information provided there, they were able to find the correct transit code for the Bank's Branch.
The number provided by the guest's bank not only omitted a required additional zero but also transposed the 3-digit and 5-digit numbers.
Rather than risk more problems making the transfer myself on-line, I got my bank to make the transfer for me, based on the code they had calculated and they advised me that the payment had then gone through, which suggests that the aforesaid code is correct.
This problem was only resolved after many hours of costly international phone calls made by the Sardinia Villa Collection. Had the guest in question provided me with the correct information or believed me when I told them the information was incorrect (rather than accusing me of trying to cheat them out of their security deposit) the whole incident could have been avoided
